Random PE

Random PE
I'm not going to get real concerned until I replace my dead MAF but my PE randomly comes in. I can't seem to see what is making it come in after a long decell. I can decell and it will come in right away or decell and go back on the throttle for a bit and it still comes in. Other than that it is hit or miss.
Before I installed the SC it was spot on. When it works, it comes in at what I set it at but I can't see what is making it sporadic.
Edit: I found the issue. I guess I don't understand the MAP sensor Linear setting like I thought. I set it for a supercharged TMAP thinking that was the TMAP setting and it isn't. Put it back to 128 kpa and PE is back every time again.

That's what I started with thinking the 2.5 bar TMAP would need that setting, see below.
I put it back to my 2.4L settings and the PE is back and no more MAP codes.
Something still doesn't seem right as my readings now are 1/2 of these. This was taken with the 2.5 bar settings.
Left is KOEO, right is full boost

I moved my MAP PE enable down for the new settings. PE came in on demand today every time and still no MAP codes. Now that it comes in I can adjust it as I'm a little too rich for my liking at 11.3

This is with the MAP settings set to 2.5 bar. This is what I would expect but keep setting the MAP code and PE doesn't come in properly.
Remember I am at 6250 ASL and over 3" below sea level readings.

On the 2.4s (haven't tuned one yet) for logging can you log the calculated cat temp? Makes me wonder if the engine thinks the cat is to hot and will start adding fuel to cool it off and it actually has nothing to do with going into PE mode. I do see there is a COT tab

I'm also not sure of the Siemens delivery. I hear they flow quite a bit more than 60psi so I may also need to raise this. Keep in mind, my MAF is currently dead until tomorrow.

I'm not worried about getting the PE AF dialed in, it's that it will not come in at all unless I set my MAP settings back to a 1 bar.

One method that i personally use to get around the limit of the IFR table is to double your stoich value and half your injector flow value. That way you dont have to hack up the maf because most of the ifr table is maxed out. Side effecs of this are it throws off the calculated intake valve temp so anything having to do with IVT gain i zero out and turn off transient fueling. Just a suggestion. What are your throttle settings for pe? Having the map enable at 42 would be a good reason why its staying on all the time... thats just above idle.

The PE isn't staying on, it wouldn't come on. I moved the PE Map to 42 after setting back to a 1 bar. KOEO is 39 so zero vac is 39. My throttle for PE is 50%.

Rewiring this weekend I decided to check the MAF with another scanner and it is fine. HP Tuner quit reading the MAF and tach for some reason. I downloaded 3.6 and still no MAF or Tach reading. I guess I had better plug in to another car before contacting HP Tuner.

HGT, update when you get this solved... I see edit on first post, is that still accurate?
Maybe its just me, but it definitely seems more people MAF tune then VE tune (MAP)... Not saying there isn't, but more just MAF tune. I'm guessing the STFT and LTFT scare people...???? Thoughts??
