2009 Cobalt SS 129k $4,500
2009 Cobalt SS Turbo. ~129,000 Miles Non-G85
$4,500 OBO. Priced to sell.
Location: Springfield, MO
I bought this car with 88 miles on it. This a one owner. Original Engine, Stock Clutch doesn't slip. I have already purchased a new vehicle and have detailed this to sell.
Mods:
Dealer Installed GM Stage 1 sensors and tune.
Crazy Steve Intercooler, installed by Crazy Steve (mine was the prototype)
New Control Arms with pre-installed Powell CABs.
OTTP Short Shifter and Base Bushings
RedlineGoods shift boot with matching stitching.
Aftermarket headlights installed in May of this year. These are not stock SS lights.
OTTP Rear Sway bar, needs new bracket.
I took the K&N intake off, but will be provided if owner wants it and the price is right.
Pros:
Great maintenance, Mobil 1 5w30 or Amsoil every 5k miles. Plugs and brakes have been done multiple times over. I have cleaned the intake valves twice. Including this past January.
No tears in the seats. New factory floor mats just installed.
I do my own detailing. The paint is in very good condition except for by the license plate. As shown. Car is currently polished and waxed.
Still great mileage Avg 25-26.
Runs great, No CELs.
Cons:
It has been rear ended once. The rear bumper has paint issues by the license plate. Rear Wing shakes when closing trunk.
I hit a deer in May of this year. All of that was fixed to my satisfaction. I have pics. It was front fender damage.
The car is almost 9 years old. There is normal wear and tear on various interior pieces but almost everything works as it should.
Curb rash
I can provide more pics or answer any questions. I am willing to deal a little on this car as i need it gone.

Car is still available.
I have added all of my service records to the carfax report. I am still driving this car a couple times a week. Still open to offers.

I have asked myself that several times. I have no idea. I don't know any way to find out. The dealership I bought it from had 2 exactly like it. I fellow member told me that the dealership said his car was used by GM for trade shows or something. I have no way to prove if it was something like that or if it was damaged from the factory. I could never find an issue that caused concern so I bought. I bought it for really cheap with a full factory warranty and didn't have any real issues that were outside of the normal Cobalt world. No signs of coolant issues. It's the same engine, trans, clutch etc from the day I bought it.

Good looking car; should sell quick.
If I were you, I'd put some detail work into that engine bay. It detracts from the attractiveness of the car overall and can tend to turn some people away from wanting to buy a car.
Here's a bit of a "guide" if you want help doing it.
Haven't sold it by the end of the year and they have to make room for the next year's models, so they send it to auction. Mine was about a week away from that. Bought it "used" with <200 miles. It's an '05 that I bought April 2006. That's also how you get a hell of a deal on a car.

Hard part is that as I fix it, I want to keep it more. Trying to give someone a hell of a deal. I have all the service records in the post above, which are much better than most people keep.
