Clicking/rattle sound
So guys, I have a fun one. Haven't dug into it yet, but the car is getting parked for the year so I have time to go through it
Went to pick the kids up from school, and I noticed there is a rattle coming from under the car/under the front between 1400-2000rpm. It seems load dependant to a point, throttle too light or heavy and it disappears. It does seem to go up slightly with RPM, but again stops fairly quick.
It'll have to wait until I get it up to check exactly where it's coming from, but so far clutch in or out has no change(Edit: At Idle, off throttle no noise anyway), there is no rattle at startup/shutdown or tapping gas, and car drives fantastic and no obvious issues are noticeable. It has been <45k since the entire timing set was replaced including the VVT items.
Any ideas on things to check? I know it could be a shield, but just looking for ideas before I tear into it.
*Edited info.

Car up on stands, and so far I've narrowed where the sound comes from. Seems to be front side of engine, need to dig further but being as I am the only one who can drive stick it makes it a pain.
I had it in third gear on the stands, and just had her tap the throttle a few times, and it seems to be in the area of the timing chain.

Just so nobody is hanging for an answer, I got sent out to Utah for a machine install so no info this week. I'm on vacation next week so plenty of time to tear it down.
I did have a quick minute to pop the valve cover off Sunday night, and the lobes for Cyl.1 on the intake cam looked a little scoured, and I did notice the top chain guide was shifting around on it's bracket.
