Can Mods Delete PM's Without Permission?

Can the mods or an admin go into a member's account and delete PM's from their account without the member's permission? The reason that I ask is because I am 100% positive I PM'ed someone, who shale remain nameless for now, and got a reply about a product they sell. But suprise suprise those PM's are now gone. If this is the case then perhaps I will be in contact with my attourny or another high ranking official that I know about an invassion of privacy or some other privacy issue towards this site.

well if that person gets banned its a possibilty that their activity may get deleted, like i know the sig and everything goes til they are reinstated, so IDK it may just be the way the site is setup.

I can assure you mods do not have access to other members pm's. Tell them to resend the pm.

well when your taking part in breaking rules by buying the little springs when you knew the "guy" wasent a supported vendor well then i belive you broke rules too leaving you open for a deleted pm...

who knows i may be way off but i think i know exactly what you are talking about???

and yeah its there site they can technically ban, delete, lock anything they want your "attorney" wont be of any use imo

umm excuse me? How is buying something off someone regardless of if they are a supporting vendor or not breaking the rules? I must have missed the section in the site rules that says you may only buy items off supporting vendors or individual members selling individual items.

Well i doubt the vendor will re-send me the PMs because they will not want me to use them to get my money back. So thats probably out of the question.

Mss26: thank you for your support

he produces his own product to distribute. If he's mass selling he needs to become a supporting vendor in order to sell his product on this site. its in the rules.

Well if it's a supporting vendor than I don't really think they have any right to go in and screw with your PM's
