Power in numbers.

As for starting a new forum. You might get some members but the post ****** will stay unless you carry that # over.

Only if people would look back at history and see how it's so true.

If McDonald's never spent billions on advertising they wouldn't be as big.

They basically told you your going to eat the food and you did, who am I, I did too.....

A revolt only results in people getting banned. Normal conversation without the BS that people like to post in these threads will be more beneficial. I have been bugging the admin to fix the server for a while now. He is busy just like the rest of us. However it is his forum and he is the one that will have to make the necessary changes.

It's frustrating as all mutherfucking hell and I'd love to see that **** fixed too but from what I gather it's not going to happen unfortunately. It's one of the things holding me back from becoming a premium member.

Agreed, but if they are people out there in the community willing to help free of charge, for the community, why not hop on it?

I understand three sides to every story, but in the eyes of the community most prolly see, site down again , WTF doesn't this guy get money from members and vendors plus ads, but they don't realize what it costs to run a site, and not speaking money!!!

Time > Money

WoW Let me guess you also believe if you didn't vote (at all) for a President and he ruins the country, your not at fault.....

BS your more at fault for not standing up and speaking.

You let it happen in reality.

Easy there. If you don't vote you have no right to bitch. I personally have no skills to add to fixing this database error otherwise I'd offer them. I'm just an outside individual who would love to see something done but has pretty much come to accept its annoyance. Rather than get my panties in a bunch I just grin and bear and come back later. There's more important things to be ticked off about than this site.

I find that the wait times build suspense..... The user experience when clicking on the site link is like this:

" Wait for it, wait for it.... DAMN!... database error.... reload... oh shat, I have wait 30 seconds for a search that didnt work? Hmm, I'll try to send a pm to that other guy who knew alot about the xyz question I had, **** he got banned cause a vendor needed smoke blown up his ****, oh wait I will see how the cobalt is doing out on the highway in the 'street racing' section.... hmmmm my car is faster than a lambo and slower than a nissan sentra spec-v, cool....Lets check the lounge section ... hmmm why are all these losers getting dumped? "

If your referring to Black08SSTC and his panties, because of this thread, that's even funnier.

One man stands up, and little ole you call him a newb. Your classic really classic.

You are forsaken, but no outlaw, change the name. And the sig, cuz you have no right to overthrow a Government you don't vote for.

or limit to those small one liners like i have. those big ass colorful pictures take much more bandwidth than a small banner.

It would help, but the stupid posts, and threads clutter the DB, and it prolly needs a good scrubbing.

Well if the pics get stored in the DB, that could also be why if they are stored as a link then that's different.

See here http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/a...cture_database

Kinda, I'm speaking about those who post like 50 pictures in the VBGarage, if they are stored in the DB then trouble. But if they are stored via a link in the DB then that is fine, it's the same as you posting a flickr picture.

I mean we could try something, instead of when people say I don't know how to post a picture instead. Either (A I get off my **** and setup a posting site to host pics on one of my web servers that can be linked to here.[password protected of course to only CSS.net members](B. Some one does a how to flickr in the lounge and when one asks they get sent that link.

I vote the Admin throws the mods a bone and gives them a bit more power.. Black always chimes in when it comes to Database error threads. If the mods were given a bit more control I can see this site cleaning up alot. Why not delete inactive members? Archive century old threads? There is so much wasted space on here it's ridiculous. Anything more then 10 pages back in a forum rarely gets looked at anyways..

Problem here is now the Mods have to want to and be held liable. Not to mention have the technical skills to perform the action, not saying any aren't, but not everyone does.

Problem here is members and site activity bring you Sponsor and Vendor $$$

A lot of the mods don't even get on anymore for various reasons.
