I feel ya man. That 2.4 section got nasty last night, and the thread is still going.

Next weekend we'll have a little gem of a thread that should make any 2.4 owner happy. Something that starts with GT30 and ends in 71. :)

Good God.

steddy2112 08-14-2008 03:25 PM

One of the big things is, knowledge of the LSJ will always be higher...and most of the tech people I know are in ecotecforum.

That and face it, people don't talk tech all the time...or workchat with Area would have like...three people in it:lol:

Someone who isn't afraid to clean up threads with misleading information and won't be afraid to sticky something once verified.

I still think if the mods were allowed to ban the trouble makers...it would keep this place a LOT cleaner...and easier to pick the information out of the bullshit a lot easier.

The LSJ section?

Where do I vote?

You wouldn't put up with the retarded exhaust threads and intake threads...people would be afraid of asking "what pulley size on stock?"

It would be a true tech section with someone who knows...moderating.

That would have to be someone outside the forums... cause I think everyone has one of those!

There are likely several members on here who are fair minded enough that they can see through the crap and be effictive mods without the need to allow their own biased conclusions influnce the performance of their job.

I honestly like to think that any of the tech savvy guys are fair minded, or at least it seems that way.

M-Dub 08-14-2008 03:32 PM

Hey, don't get me wrong..... I don't dislike anyone.... except for Area cause he touches me in my bad places! :D

I think a "TECH" mod would be a good choice.... someone who knows the ins and outs of these cars and "actually" knows what they are talking about!

I in NO way want to be a mod here.... I'm not on enough anymore to warrant it....

Area47 08-14-2008 03:34 PM

most of us tech monkies are open minded to new idea's. lord knows i am when it comes to this engine. or else id still be at square one with the rest of the stage 2 people

For the most part you are absolutely correct, except for when noobs are in hear asking well worn questions. Patience then runs a bit thin.

M-Dub 08-14-2008 03:34 PM

Hey leave her outta this.... you touched me and....... however flattered I may have been I was drunk and in Ninja mode.... don't touch me in Ninja mode!

BradSi 08-14-2008 03:37 PM

If we're going for tech, it's Rod, Area, Witt, or go home.

True, but in all honesty we had to start somewhere. I don't mind pointing someone in the right direction especially when it comes to OBD2 cars because the symptoms can widely vary and be very easily misdiagnosed.
