Question Vendors posting in regular forums question

Aren't vendors supposed to be posting in the vendor area as far as what they may have out for our cars? It is kind of hard figuring out what each is selling when they post to each forum category that they have parts for.

They are memebers just like any else.. Only they sell stuff as well...

Some of them (most of them probably) have Cobalt's.. So why wouldn't they post in other forums?

Okay, maybe you have a point there, but I guess I was wondering why there's a vendor area for each supporting vendor, yet they dont use it. I figgered the reason that area existed was so you could visit the particular vendor area and one-stop shop. Sorry if it sounded outta line.

I know what you mean....

When they are advertising the products on the site other then the area designed for them.. Yeah if that is what you mean then I know.. Cause I have seen them advertise products in the normal forums rather then their area..

I guess they jsut get more attention.. I mean it's easy to go to the 2.0L and see a topic about the intakes.. Then to search through all the vendors to find which one has intakes and which doesn't.. Takes more time I guess.

other sites i've been on vendors cannot post other than the vendors section. all they can do is advertise on what they are selling and answer any questions that members have that they post in the vendors section. guess this site has different rules so i'm guessing it's allowed. nothing wrong w/ it but i see alot of vendors that aren't even labeled as vendors sell large quantitiy of products.

I'll keep an eye on it, maybe we'll have to do some changes

the vendor area doesn't get as much traffic as the general topics areas. hell if they only post in the vendor's area i'll never know what's being released and what kind of stuff they are doing because i never read it. nor will i probably start
