Gaskets, fitment issues, gains, level of difficulty of installation, who to call in case it flops? That is all.

Everything will come with the header from AEM as far as gaskets for the install. As far as the flange from the header to the downpipe I am not 100% if that comes with the header... if not a local dealer can get one for you.. as well as us, we deal closely with a local dealership, so that shouldnt be an issue at all. Fitment should be no problem as it is built to bolt right up to factory setup.

As far as technical support AEM will provide you with support. Also we will provide as much support as we can as a vendor to help you how can. We try to pride ourselves in customer service.

Level of difficulty I would say is average to above average. If you have a fair amount of mechanical skills you should be able to tackle this with no problem. Gains I'm sure are argueable between company's. Everyone claims they will show the largest gains. From my stand point as a shop owner and an enthusiast in my own right... headers will provide a gain in HP what they are will depend on other mods. Most headers you will see will yeild similar gains with 1-3hp + or - of eachother. So when purchasing a header or any other similar part for that matter, you want to think about quality, customer service and technical support you will recieve from the company's product. That will help you to make a purchasing decision. Just want to give an honest point of view.

As far as collector size. there are a few others that are looking for the same info.. and as soon as I hear back from AEM I will be sure to update you all here! Thanks

It's a 2 inch collector and 1.5 inch primaries. It's smaller than a stock LSJ header. I just returned mine, I have no idea why AEM is marketing this to the 2.0 supercharged people.

ya good for 2.2 but no lsj with primaries that size

AEM has dropped the ball on the SS with the short tube of an intake that uses the stock tube for 100 bux
now a mismarketed header for 430

Well, if you look at the length of the runners on these headers for your cars, they are really short. Shorty headers are what gave older cars more low end torque to get off the line quick. Problem with this setup on your car is, your S/C is already putting so much tq to the ground initially that you'll end up gaining more tq and just spinning more off the line. A better design would be to find some type of longer, 4-1, design header so that you can gain more mid to high end horsepower while keeping enough tq on the ground without just spinning your wheels off. Just a little tip.

This seems like the winner for your engine types. Longer runners and full piece with flex pipe and CAT. I would suggest this one due to design/quality (Vibrant exhaust systems). Price sux though.

^ Hes right. That is probably the best heady setup out for this car.
The problem is that at $750 no one is buying them do to the fact that they are $250 over priced.
I remember geting a header high flow cat and haveing it put on my cavalier for less then 500 out the door.

Later.

I agree... the bad part is us vendors have no control over that You should try writing some of your concerns to the manufacturer. They tend to take more notice of comments from the end users... rather than comments from venders. Thanks for everyones comments.
