I didn't want to talk **** back for three reasons, i'm a pretty modest guy in general and for the most part could give a **** less what anyone else thinks about me or my car or anything like that. I also am a spl and sound quality competitor i know whats out there i know what can be done. Lastly my car isn't a true SPL comp car. true sq car maybe but not SPL. my **** gets loud as hell but that wasn't the main goal. So to answer you question can you get louder then me my answer is absolutely. it is absolutely possible to be louder then my car and i'm 100% positive i'm not the loudest cobalt out there. If you want to see if you can be louder then me im all for it, im not going to do a damn thing different other then show up. I can give you some advice thou. if you are serious and truly do want to be louder then me your going to have to put the fiberglass down. build something that looks crazy and wins car shows and you will loose
now for the fun part: i have 2 very loose 15s, a broken amp (or something down the line idk really) a broken alternator and i'm missing a battery. reconing the speakers and fixing all the broken **** in my car would make a big difference and get me back to about twice as loud as when rage herd my car at his house (loudest ive been that anyone other the people i work with have herd) to take it a step further my box was built to be ported the plan was to do the ports later once i figured out the other stuff first the mounting the box sealing the trunk ect ect so if i wanted to i could make my box ported (and since this would be strictly for comp i would tune it where it needs to be to be the loudest not sound the best like i had originally planned) and be just under twice as loud again. and when rage herd my car it was probably twice as loud as when everyone else has since lets be honest my car is never "working"... with the same equipment fixed and a ported box i can be roughly 3 times louder then when most people have herd my car.... your audio guy would have to be pretty damn good to do that.
