I used just nightshade, I think the brand was HVT...don't know if anyone else makes that stuff.... no clear or anything like that.

if you just used the night shades some thinner should do the job.
whatever you do do not use paint stripper!!

As for show, thats what I really want get into when I get out there. need to learn me som tips n tricks....along with painting the stockers as well
