Is there anyone from the Okc/Moore area trying to get a group started or something? if so Post, Private Message, etc. Message me # or facebook info. Im trying to start a Group, i know most of the people in the metro area & they all want to get something started too, meeting, crusing, racing, etc.

 

I would like to get a balt or GM group together. I just bought the car and joined the site, and found not many want to. I feel like I'm alone as far as balts go on Saturday night cruizes and racing.

yeah there's really not much to do... i only know of 1 or 2 people and they're in okc. up here in bartlesville there's just crap. haha

 

thats ok i pulled up to the first meet and i was one of two gm's and 3/4s of the people didnt even know my car was a cobalt. or a 4 cyclinder.... fail. and racing one of the 3v 4.6s i lost the clutch. the 3v 4.6's arent very fast i must say. the new 5.0s... fml those are nasty.

 

yeah new 5.0s are a 12.8 12.9 car right down to the stock tires. even with an auto. the new edge gts not so much hahah. my friend had one with gears, intake, full exhaust. walked it from any roll and dig with just a 2.8" and 60s in my old car. no intake no h/e no supporting mods at all.

buddy was mad from a 60 i got 4 cars. till my car decided to go into retard mode, eng power rdc... he was auto(his stupidity) intake and exhaust. the part he was mad about was his wife was with him

 

If you're in the Moore area, there is usually a group of guys that meet at the McDonald's on 12th St and I-35. Subarus, Chargers, Mustangs, and others. It's a wide variety. Usually there's some roll racing or other shennanigans. You can participate, follow or just hang out and watch video of the outcome and hear what happened. Everyone's cool. You can show up and introduce yourself or let me know and I'll introduce you.

Another place where people hang out is on 39th St in the Warr Acres area on Saturday night. All kinds of cars. People there are generally cool. Tons of Hondas though. At around midnight, there is some racing in Mexico. There's a FB page to track the spots because it moves around. Again, mostly Hondas. Those that aren't interested in that sort of thing go to a car wash on NW Expressway to shoot the **** about cars, look in engine bays, etc.

Friday night is test and tune at Thunder Valley in Noble, OK. It's just South of Norman. It takes about 20 mins to get there from Moore. It's $10.00 to get in. If you want to run, it's $15.00. Lots of cool cars and people there on Friday nights. There's everything from 7-8 second cars to 17 second trucks. Plus, it's all legal.

 

I'm right by Tinker AFB if anyone wants to meet up. I work a lot and have the family life but I try to make it to the track on Fridays for sure. Might go tomorrow but haven't decided. Waiting for parts to come in.

 

Anyone know who has the Black TC with red stock wheels that's always driving on Penn in Edmond by Dick's and Home Depot?

 

What days would you be able to meet up? I've been trying to meet some people around here

Working on a clutch fluid issue right now. I can't get it to bleed without air being pulled in. But I figured it'd be a good time to sell the current setup and start on the new one. Just address the clutch issue while it's all apart.

I live in Edmond, OKC is just a 15 minute drive down 74. Haven't been to TVRP yet. But... I do have off Saturday so I'm free Friday night.
