I know it's a very bad habit, I really just like exploring options. It would be a cheaper investment if I bought the Kpro, rather than another car, but then it's like do I just want to dump money into the Z again? Last year financially came together, seeing I never pulled the trigger on the Cobalt project. I was never happy with the platform either. The TSX err K24a is a great engine to work on. With cams,full bolt-ons, tuning peeps were seeing 260plus whp, with a hell of a lot more potential when going F/I. |

You can find them priced reasonably too, mods aren't bad, and keeping it supercharged isn't a curse like it is for the LSJ:cussing:

Stock m62 literally blows, and the over hyped TVS didn't do jack without e85. Sadly if you want great numbers, you have to go turbo. I prefer superchargers, and it wasn't happening with the LSJ. Also whats worse is a blown TSX with the same or smaller blower makes or can make more power! I was like wtf?! There are guys with 340-390's on a m62, mild cams, tune, and basic bolt-ons:lol:

Numbers schmumbers ... Lets see that 390 get EFFECTIVELY put to the ground . Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that there's no room for improvement, but 300 is plenty in these cars IMHO. The power is there to be had with the m62, it just depends on how far you wanna dig into the LSJ. Now, let mgr blow this motor ........ Then I'll bring the proverbial LSJ pain! Lol

:lol: 300whp won't be had with a m62 alone or with basic bolt ons:nono: head & cams maybe, I don't recall if it's been done with an m62'ed lsj. TVS is will see nice numbers, but again not with out E85, and a lot of work.:cussing: 300's just don't cut it with me.... I'm going back to my roots, V8 powa:lol: As of now my Z is up and running again,and I've been shopping around or going to piece together a nice 383 stroker kit, port & polish my LT4 heads, and call it a day:guns: Then maybe boost the TSX to pis off some Balt owners:lol: |

I'm a little disapointed... I have been in San Antonio since wednesday morning... I have only seen 2 stock SS/SC's (1 red with highrise, 1 blue with low rise) and a hand full of SS/NA's. I have been between Lackland AFB and Hunt lane all week haha ohh and I saw a 4dr ls with corvette badging, racing stripes, fender vents "cobalt GT" on the back, in a handy cap spot lmao.
