10 more hours tomorrow... we're not going to work any OT this weekend, i'm pretty glad of that...
here is my world, I get paid to get high:
a childs play day, maybe 80 ft. in the air
and I took another pick of the stack while up in the air
see the top of that stack(this stack is only about 300ft high, i've been on them twice as high)... there is a run of conduit all the way to the top... our tallest lift will not reach that platform at the top... I got paid to repel down the side of this thing(with another electrician) and we had a guy at the top drop a rope all they way down to the ground, he'd hoist up the conduit and then we would hang it... I love heights so it didn't bother me, but still was pretty intimidating with that 1st initial plunge, definitely not the life for everyone
when I first got on this job, they'd been putting that run off because no one wanted to do it... lol
when I came along and they were like "we got to have someone repel off the side of that thing"... I was like "Can I do it?"... little did I know, no one else wanted to... they all took bets that I wouldn't actually go through with it... but the littlest mother ****** in the crew proved their asses wrong, and that is job security my friends, they give me all the **** up high no one wants to do... i got paired up with a journeyman who also doesn't mind working up high, we're going to be on this job for a while, lol
also I added a little bug to my sig... gotta fly it with pride

I ran conduit and wire at the Amaco plant over Decatur back in the day when they were retrofitting it. We had some pretty high up jobs, hell we use to hide from our supervisor up there and goof off becasue he was to fat to climb.
Get your journeymens license and make some big money!

hey Josh, see if you can get that **** set up next wknd...
I'm going to go ahead and work tomorrow for some more OT, so I won't really feel like doing much tomorrow night... Saturday I already had plans anyway I had forgot about.... but i'm definitely not going to work next Saturday... still MIGHT nxt Friday but highly doubtful
in 2 weeks, the MMA season starts back that Saturday and there is a local show with some of my friends/brothers in the local fighting, so I definitely won't be open that night

nope, this is ran by a guy named Dustin Rhodes, he runs a company called Flatline MMA, LLC
believe it or not, they are one of the most talked about promotions in the state... its a very professional atmosphere at his shows...
my friend Eric fighting and winning... he went 4-0 as an amateur, then got a promotion in the military, sent to Iraq and hasn't fought since:
YouTube - Eric harris-Team Brotherhood-vs-Ben Littrel
the promotion in Cullmen is called AXC and is run by Razor, I don't even know Razor's real name, lol.... everyone calls Dustin, Deuce... so if anything you'll probably hear him referred to as Deuce Rhodes

Josh, I'll be heading down to Birmingham some time next week to pick me up a turbo at BNR. It will probably be between 9-10am as I have to be back up in Athens by 2:30 to pick my daughter up.
