All hsvracing is about is who's stroking who.
Hell if you would have invited us for a meet at your house I'm sure everyone would come, well atleast the real gear heads.
**** I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty.
Nothing like a engine install meet, I'm not brand biased like some peps
Now Adam you would have to watch, he might slip something into that Honda engine.

Thats what kills me about import vs. domestics, there are domestic manufacturers that use import engines, dodge, plymouth & eagle are the 3 biggest ones I can think of off hand.
Hell the 90's Saturn Vue Redline AWD used a Honda V6 engine in it (same that was in the passport and odessey).
Oh yeah thats Adam's kind of car

You got jerks all around though, look at us, we drive domestics but yet the V8 nuthuggers dislike us because we have turbo 4 cylinders.

Well the van is only pushing 15 psi on t he SOHC head, it should be able to hang with alot of ****.
I think its about even with the HHR SS with bigger turbo upgrade right now. But the HHR SS is pushing 26 psi and the van is AWD
I wouldn't use the word rape with confidence until I bolt on the DOHC w/ cams and turn the boost up to 20-22 psi.
Right now I'm at a wall where the SOHC won't flow enough air in/out to support more then 15 psi on that turbo.
By the way I'm probably driving the van down to the SPEC meet this Sunday.
I figure it would make a better conversation piece since I rebuilt the motor, turbo'd it, etc.
I drove the van for 3 weeks while the HHR SS was down getting the turbo upgrade, but that was locally.
I had no problems but thats alot different then driving 2 hrs one way.

When I had my Ion QC I had bought the aluminum saab ecotec manifold (still have it lol) to drill out, for a direct port nitrous kit I was gonna strap on that thing, but in the end sold the kit and traded the Ion QC in.
I know peps are gonna be surprised but I miss that Ion QC, had ground effects kit on it, rims and a 5 speed and it was a peppy little thing for a 2.2 ecotec.
I never had to take that thing to the dealer once in the 5 years I owned it from new, before trading it in.
The GM finance manager bought it and still drives it to this day.
HHR SS already needs a friggin purge solenoid and only has 10k miles on it, and I bought it new in 09!
