True. I just emailed Vince. If this doesn't cost anything I'll get a tune when we do the dyno meet I'll bring 5 gallons and throw it in after the 1st pull and load the tune.

I believe they were saying at one point since it is such a radical switch with the different tunes between a 93 and a e85 that Vince wouldn't do a combo tune with the e85 option. Let me know what he says because I am curious too , although I doubt I will do e85 since the closest station is over 2 hours away since they closed the one that was right up the road because not many people used it.

I hope to have more mods added by then, just basics I need a intake and charge pipes next. Having to pay for this damn wedding and cruise sucks it is depleting my parts funds ha ha. Was a pretty good deal on a Hahn Intake in the classified , it was 175 shipped to me but I don't think I am going to get it. I'll end up going with a K & N short ram and OTTP upper and lower pipes probably. Intake first then pipes.

Yeah , only thing is that by adding a filter you get so close to what I could get a k & n for. The only thing I do like about the dejon more than the k & n is the ability to have it powder coated to match the car and also you can by the extender pipe now to make it into an cai or a sri depending on how the weather is.

I don't trust short rams. I ran one on my old GTP and I never could get it tuned right. KR was present and the MAF hated it. Switched to a fenderwell CAI with no other changes and the problem disappeared. The reason I went hahn is simple. Only hahn and Injen had fenderwell CAIs in black(AEM is polished only) and blueberry and terminator both said the injen was junk and almost impossible to tune for... so by process of elimination, the hahn won. I wanted the intake to match my black charge piping
I bought it when Turbo Tech racing had one of their kickass sales going on them and only paid like $250 shipped

I guess josh is going to have the most powerful Cobalt SS in Bama now, unless someone has a turbo swap I don't know about.
Sad thing is Josh has no mods but a tune

Not really, your mpg are about the same but you use more fuel. Thus why us bigger turbo guys will need some type of bigger pump or extra fuel, the stock system isn;t going to allow enough fuel flow for E85 and bigger turbo.
But just a tune E85, damn impressive.
I mean how embarassing if someone ask what all you have done to your Cobalt SS/tc and you spew out all these mods and tell them your whp/wtq to only find out you been beat by a bone stock E85 Cobalt SS/TC. I would be pissed to be honest, but more power to the guys that have E85 available.
Some times its good to wait it out in the mod world.

guy posted his E85 results:
![](https://www.cobaltss.net/gallery/files/2/7/8/3/4/e85_dyno.jpg)
the good news:
gain of 34whp and 50 ft.-lbs over his 91 octane tune
the bad news:
that power curve flat out sucks... nothing up top
no doubt guys are putting down more PEAK whp with it, and maybe its just Vince's conservative tuning with it, but its looks terrible
