Paul i'm thinking G8 as well... just wish they offered it in a manual, they do, in the LS3 GXP which go for a lot of money because there wasn't many of them... I can get a G8 GT for $18-20,000, and it shouldn't be that high to insure(probably cheaper than the Cobalt)... plus it'll have 4-doors and is a V8... and while they are slow from the factory, with headers, a catback, a cai, and a 93 tune, they'll run mid-12s on good tires... a cam away from low 12s
I even located a G8 GXP in North Carolina at the time, no way in hell I was being financed for that thing when it was new.
The G8 GXP had the more powerful LS motor, at the time though there was way more performance mods for the G8 GT motor then the G8 GXP motor.
Also one of the models (can't remember now) had the cylinder shut down feature on the motor.
The build quality of the G8 GT was compared to BMW's when all the Auto magazines were doing reviews.
Imo, Saturn and Pontiac should have been kept by GM. Both those car companies made some nice innovative models compared to Cheverolet.
Most Chevy models are very bland

i'm going to finance through my Locals credit union, for a car 07 and newer they offer 60 month(5 yrs) @ 4.00% interest all the time, I can't beat that at any other credit union... that is low for a used car, hell they only offer 3.45% on a new car(which is still great)...
if I find one for $20,000 that is only $360/month for the car... my Cobalt was $460 month/5 yr

front lip....lol
now that is funny, let me dig it out of the rear bumper of the Rodeo I hit, I'll grab it when I grab the stock intercooler with not one but two busted endtanks lol
and i have the stock downpipe, it has 2 cats but ****, you can have it
the intake is crushed, the IC piping, is crushed(at least the bottom section).... the downpipe and catback would be salvageable
I will probably however, have my stock ECM for sell, the one I had tuned is in the car... i'm going to price it for $250, however, for the people who post on this topic only, $175... you can't buy them anymore, they have to be pulled from wrecks.... with mine, it won't even be coming from a wreck so no possible damage... if no one here wants it, its going on the for sale section at $250 + shipping, and will sell quickly
i'm keeping the Trifecta cable, whatever I get will be GM... so Vince will probably get some more business from me, especially if I buy the G8...

Didn't you just put new rotors and pads on that thing, damn I would like to get those also, but it would be a pain in the ass unless yor having the car towed to your house. Then I could come over and swap em out.

Jesus, lol
and Paul the car is in Athens... at Frankie's towing service...
I don't know how i'd go about getting stuff off of it, but i'd be willing... ****, if they total it out, I might looking into buying it back from them anyway
the engine and transmission are probably still good, seats, radio, wheels... could probably get $2000 for the engine and transmission, $500-600 for the wheels(yeah, i'm going to price them what they go for on here, lol), $4-500 for the seats... things like the radio, etc. i'd let go cheap...
brakes and rotors, probably around $250, I paid over $500 for them about what, two months ago? lol
i'd give Josh the complete catback for probably $50... I have more than that in the muffler and its been on for about a month, lol

But seriously that is a good deal on the rotors and pads, I just don't think we will be able to get them and swap for my facotry set if its sitting at the wrecker service.
We will probably only be able to get stuff we can pull and load up.
Contact them and let me know what you can do, I got tools and we are close enough to my house we can make more then one trip and store parts in my garage if we have to till people pay you and come get the stuff.

two, I'm just trying to figure the color out, he already said didn't want the car to be fixed because he doesn't think the car would drive right, he is already thinking about buying other cars, and he is already thinking about prices. There is no rush man I'm just trying to figure some stuff out.
