Day 2 of trying to get a car totaled.... got no where again, lol
turns out my gap protection was actually sold to me through my dealership, even though it had Regions listed as the creditor, they weren't the ones responsible for it, but at Regions I was able to get a photocopy of my title... then it was off to the dealership, there they gave me a number to call the Gap Insurance Company...
about noon I called them to find out that in applying for a claim they have to send me a claim form through the mail, that is right as advanced as modern ******* technology is, these dumbasses can't email me the form or fax it to me.... Snail mail only, so this'll be a good 2-3 day wait... not to mention I have to have a copy of my finance papers, a copy of my gap agreement, a copy of the accident report, a copy of the validation form, a copy of my payment history... and I have to go back to the dealer to get them to reimburse the bank the money for the portion of the extended warranty that I had financed but never used...
so basically tomorrow morning I have to go BACK to the bank and BACK to the dealership, then to my insurance company and at the end of the day will still not be in a position to being car searching

how you figure? So it's kool for someone to put racing stripes on them and just paint the stock rims? The funny thing is everything I have done can be undone quick and easy. Sorry if I like visual upgrades more then performace, I'm 31 and could give a crap less about trying to beat up on Honda's. I work 2 freaking jobs and don't have time to go race around the city looking for trouble. But yet I destroyed a Cobalt? That's fine all you talk your trash, Haters only make me famous

I had a low rider truck back in the day that was customized to hell and back. Shaved tail gate and door handles with a snug top and true walk through along with carpet kit, etc, etc, etc.
People didn't like when I put 100 spoke true knock off chrome wheels on my Grand National. Well **** them I said, I own a Grand National when they buy one they can do what the **** they like.
Anyways if any of them would have known how much the factory original wheels cost and the center caps were irriplaceable, you couldn't even get repos of the tri-shield buick caps that were on my GN.
What I've learned about customizing your stuff is you do what you like and not what everyone else thinks. If it bothers you that people are not liking what you do or how you customized your ride, then you care to much about what others think and probably should not be customizing cars, seriously.
Like I've said before, to each there own. Its your money not theirs, spend it how you want.

and the cool thing is I called my Local Union's Credit Union today(because i'm going to finance my next car through them), basically to see how I needed to go about getting "pre-approved" on a car seeing as how I'll be driving a long way to look at it and would like to have the money available if I decide to buy it, in that, I explained my current situation and they told me to bring a form showing the car has been totaled and they'd go ahead and get my next loan in motion, even though i'd be waiting for the insurance company and gap insurance company to work out their ****, pretty cool... i'll be able to make a move on a car without waiting on them to drag their ass, which i'm sure they will

Oh yea, before I forget, I've seen two Cobalt SS within the last two days. One was at Goo Goo Wash last night around 18:00 off of University Dr., across from Target. The other was in the parking lot of Dollar General Super Market off the corner of Hughes Rd and Madison Pike. Anyone?

Just picked up some OTTP rotated mounts on sale, I got the stage 2 for $155 plus $14.50 shipping. Killer deal thats like $100 of the normal price for Stage 2 rotated mounts.

Sorry, I should have clarified. This one was a black SS/SC. The one at Goo Goo Wash at vinyl designs on the side of the vehicle and had the high rise spoiler. Don't remember what color it was though.

WAY too high, if the car is still there im going to look at a torrid red 05 w/ 63K on it, its a six speed and they want $14995 for it. Wont be able to go until tuesday though
