so would anyone be interested in going to Steele the Friday before Halloween?
can't do it this weekend, going to a Haunted House in Birmingham with a group of friends on Friday(or think we're planning on it) and then a road trip to Atlanta for another one on Saturday, which is supposed to be one of the best ones in the country
I'm sorry guys vulnerable girls with me in haunted houses>drag strip this weekend, lol

I'll probably be in Alabama this weekend , but I'll be at our river camp on the Tombigbee doing some fishing. But if we don't go there I might ride up for awhile and visit if anyone is going to be around this weekend.
Oh and I have been tinkering with my new photo editor to try to get used to it and I thought this came out pretty cool.

damn I hate being sick, was cool getting to lay around the house all day but another night of taking Nyquil and calling it a night... and wow, I don't know what it is, but Nyquil makes me have the most screwed up dreams... I usually wake up feeling much better the next morning, but left with the feeling I might need to see a psychiatrist, lol
I actually looked it up online and it appears it gives MANY people nightmares/f*cked up dreams, researchers say the dextromethorphan in it causes it, and of course, that it only effects certain people.... well, I guess i'm one of the unlucky ones, lol

TECHNICAL
Bulletin No.: 10-06-04-001C
Date: December 08, 2010
Subject: Intermittent MIL/Check Engine Light On, DTC P0451 or P0454 (Install Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor Cover)
Models:
2009-2010 Chevrolet Cobalt, Colorado (Built Prior to January 13, 2010), Silverado (Built Prior to November 4, 2009)
2009-2010 GMC Canyon (Built Prior to January 13, 2010), Sierra (Built Prior to November 4, 2009)
2009-2010 Pontiac G5
Supercede:
This bulletin is being revised to update the Warranty Information. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 10-06-04-001B (06 - Engine/Propulsion System).
Condition
Some customers may comment on a check engine light. Upon further investigation, a technician may find one of the above DTCs.
Cause
This condition may be caused by normal water accumulation or condensation blocking the air reference port of the fuel tank pressure sensor. Blockage can cause inaccurate output signals. If the signal varies during an Engine Off Natural Vacuum test, a false DTC could set.
Correction
Review the diagnostic information contained in SI for the DTC and repair as necessary. If SI diagnosis does not isolate the cause of this concern, ONLY install a fuel pressure sensor shield, P/N 20893611. Clear the DTCs.
Chevrolet Colorado, Silverado and GMC Canyon, Sierra
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in SI.
2. Place a suitable adjustable jack under the fuel tank.
3. Remove the fuel tank strap bolts.
4. Remove the fuel tank straps.
5. Lower the fuel tank halfway.
6. Locate the fuel tank pressure sensor (1).
7. Install the fuel tank pressure sensor cover, GM P/N 20893611.
Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G5
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in SI.
2. Install the fuel tank pressure sensor cover (1), GM P/N 20893611.

Josh I had that code until I got Vince to delete it....along with about 4 other DTCs.... my car hated the catted ZZP downpipe, lol
they all appeared instantaneously after installing it, like 30 miles later... was weird, they'd go away in the summer(occasionally) and come back in the winter...

alright seriously, who is down for Steele this Friday? I want a decent turnout of support or i'm not going to make the trip... oh i would, but one of my friends just broke up with his g/f of 4 years and is in a bit of a funk... i'll make the trip to Steele if others here want to go... if not, i'm going to get that man tore up this Friday and hopefully hook him up with a rebound chick(because i'm a good friend like that, lol)...
so let me know either way... but I am still down for Steele if anyone else is and if everyone is down to go I can probably talk him into riding out anyway, he would bring his bad ass cammed Camaro(which is fast, low 11s maybe in the 10s) but he broke two rockers last night and its currently under the scope, but we have determined its the rockers... pushrods, etc. looked fine but he is probably going to refresh the topend just to be safe
and Saturday I sense another road trip.... this past Saturday, went to ATL with some friends, got back home Sunday moring at 2:05 a.m.... woke up at 4:40 a.m.....and went to work for 12 hours in Huntsville, lol.... oh well, it was double time which I wasn't about to pass up and I already had the plans... so I went into beast mode and made it through it, then crashed last night about 8:00, lol
Josh we came through Talladega about 5:00ish, I started to call you and see if you wanted to go with us to Atlanta, we had a blast and room for a couple of more... we went to Netherland(the haunted house), it sucked, then we stopped at another one in Douglassville Georgia called Nightmare's Gate... BAD ASS, Netherland sucked but the Nightmare's Gate was very good, I recommend it over Netherlands, and its very adult oriented, characters love the F-bomb and are great... after the tour we talked to some of them "out of character"(we were the last group to go through)... my friends ran the **** block on me and made me get in the car and leave, I was onto something with the "hostess" that 1st talk to when entering the gate of the haunted house.. those f*ckers are good at that ****, lol
but if you're looking for a haunted house that is more comedy oriented than trying to scare you, that is the one... I had a blast in it

I hope its not too cold... I want the track hooking up... i'm all for the cool air, car will run stronger.... but not if its a smoke show off the line, lol
I am wanting to run it stock tune and then again once its tuned, my car is loud now, but its not a whole lot more powerful than stock... not enough to make too much of a difference, so times should still be around what they'd be stock, its more of a sound mod than a power mod, lol

I'll need to know something by Thursday whether everyone is going to Steele or not. I won't even make it to bham though until 7ish so someone is going to have to wait for me and let me follow them if it does happen.

oh, it'll be late before I get to B-ham as well, I don't get home to 4:30 and it'll be 6ish before I leave, so I won't be to Birmingham before 8, probably around 8 when I get there
