I love being off until August 6th.... even though then i'm going back on 7/12s for a little while, then another small break, then 6/12s for a while....
kind of worked out good, because i'll have a couple of weeks of building up this relationship before I have to work a lot of hours... I think I got a keeper this time, i'm really digging her a lot... this is the 1st girl i've ever dated that I have not changed ANY of my ways... can honestly say that
not going to complain, this will allow the Camaros to become full bolt-on(ported LS3 intake, Ported throttle body, Cold Air Intake, and retuned) as well as a set of drag radials... and hopefully next spring will cam it...
besides, i've had a good bit of time off this summer(could have already went back on a long term job but don't want to miss the Fall Ferry Outage, can make in 2 months there what'd i'd make in 4 months working 40 hours a week), i'm ready to put some hours in and make some real money...

I started to go to either that or that big ass car meet they had in Nashville yesterday, instead I went out on the river and to the track last night...
some guys I know went to the Nashville meet and they said it was a ricer fest... no, I don't mean an import show, I can actually enjoy those... they said it was shitty slammed civics with fart cannons, lol... those type cars made up about 70% of the cars there, they were disappointed... they said it was a huge turnout just a rice fest

Almost done with my tuning, I've got the AFR's worked out.
To give you an idea how much more air the DOHC head/aftermarket cams flow then the SOHC head/factory cam.
With the SOHC head setup I could run 18 psi on 650cc injectors with a higher cfm turbo.
With the DOHC head/cams, I can only run 15 psi with 775cc injectors with a slightly smaller turbo. That DOHC head and cams are creating some serious air flow , but the van pulls strong from 3k rpms to redline. Stronger then the previous SOHC with bigger turbo setup I had on.
Only thing I'm tweaking out right now is a better idle after deceling from wot and coming to a stop. Sometimes it stalls sometimes it doesn't.
Looks like 20-22 psi is going to require a Turbo ECU swap and some big ass injectors.

Please help
Purchased aftermarket Stage 2, CAI ,H/E, HPTuner Pro. Sent base tune back to company for retune, after numerous emails, text, phone calls still no response. Found a tune on HPTuner web that I think will work it just had exhaust mods where mine does not. Not sure if that would really matter. I have had these items for about two months now. Installed CAI and H/E waiting on tune for pully and injectors. Meet some of you guys at the park on Edwards Lake and you had mentioned someone in the area that new how to tune SS/SC's. Sorry don't remember your names off the top of my head. Contacted another vender and they want $110 for a can tune to meet my specs. Looking for advice don't really like having to pay twice for a can tune. This is my DD and would like to get it all together. Thanks for any response.

Contact James on here, he can email you a tune although you will have to pay him to unlock your VIN on his HP Tuners. He is probably one of the best tuners period, I always recommend him.

I need to get back with you on tunning my poor pos. I been so busy I haven't been able to send you some logs, but I did change my spark plugs and it took those mid throttle in 3rd stumbles away so I can go a little more aggressive now. Btw I want to say with 63k miles , tuned for 50k miles, and with several 113+ 12 sec passes under my belt and beating the hell out of some street racing, my stock clutch is a beast lol. Now it will slip because I said that

Well the guys came down from TN and arrived this morning @ 6 am to buy this POS DSM that Wes gave me for rent. Rent was $300 and I ended up selling the car for $900 so I came out all right lol.
I am seriously seriously considering buying the Hahn S20G as I talked to James about it. I think I would rather buy it for less than the BNR and be able to keep my stock turbo too since I don't have another core to send in. Plus James recommended it over the BNR for me. I have the $900 from the car plus a small credit card I got in case I wanted to buy parts. I would need to buy the turbo and then charge pipes and a blow off. I basically got approval from the Wife since I just bought her $1000 earrings ( on my Kays card ) for our anniversary ( 5 years together not the wedding anniversary lol ) so she owes me one ha ha.
If I do buy it I know James will be able to get it right since he has the S20 on his car so lots of experience. I just still need to put my car in the dealership to fix the 2nd gear synchro that I still have never done before I put the turbo on. Guess car will be going in to dealership this week.

All versions of the 20g are a good turbo imo. TD05H-20g, TD06-20g, 6SL2-20g and the TD06H-20g. Even in the DSM world the 20g is starting to become popular again due to the fact a "real" Evo III 16g will run you the same amount of money as a "real" 20g now.
If you end up needing a new trans, you might want to look into the HHR SS LNF transmission with 4.05 final drive. It will probably be your cheapest option for better performance unless you got the money and want to step up to a ZZP trans.
If I would have known you had a DSM to get rid of I might have taken it off your hands if the body and interior were in good shape.

HHR SS LNF Trans is about $2800 lol. which i should know lol, i bought one from GM lol.
BNR Will prob be sold next year after james and i make the Highes possible whp mark for it.
Then going for the highes whp mark with the 6262 bb or may the efr.
Most likely going with the 6262 seeing no one is making dyno queen numbers for Treadstone yet.
Prob go for 630-670whp+
But now that Bryan is upgrading my BNR for me. We will be seeing higher boost then the 27-28psi.
4k in parts Build starts today guys.
Wish us luck lol.
