i've drag raced a lot, autos, manuals, rwd, and fwd...

but never a manual fwd... which wouldn't be that big of a deal, except 1st gear in these cars is pretty much none existent, you just pretty much roll out, shift to 2nd and go...

*****edit*****

finally took some pics of my tail lights:

and a night shot:

you can compare before to the pic in my sig

hardly anyone cares about top speed anyway, I never carry a race much over 100-110 anyway, its pointless, if you can't settle it by them, who cares

Didn't know there were this many Cobalts in central Alabama! Everytime I see a 'balt, they're usually heading the opposite way down I-459 or I-59, lol.

what bike?(or car besides a Cobalt, lol)

and I don't really know Hondas, I mean I know that the H22 and B16 are popular swaps, but I couldn't tell you anything about what the difference and perks of any of them are.... I pretty much know the H22 was in a prelude, that is about where my Honda knowledge ends... Is the B16 an Integra Type-Rs engine?

that is why I like Chevy V8s:

you have "350"(which could be about anything from 1960s to the 1990s)... then you have the generational break downs: the LT engines(Lt1, LT4), the LSx series(Ls1, Ls6, Ls2, LS3, LS7, LS9).... Pretty much at the end of the day, all LTs were created equal and all LSx are... as far as potential... Stock for stock they vary greatly

you don't really see many "swaps"... when people swap, its because they had their engine seize and got a deal on another series block, or are just cynical and decide to throw a LS7 crate in their Camaro

****edit****

oh yeah, anyone here into MMA??? If so, Feb. 7th in Florence Flatline Productions is having their biggest show ever at the Florence Coliseum, 3 title fights, this is a VERY good promotion, very professionally ran... their promoter Dustin "Deuce" Rhodes is one of the top prospects in the Southeast(also fighting that night)...

tickets are $25 for general, $30 for "floor"(You can see fine in the general section but I think its best to pay the extra $5 and get on the floor)... It is well worth the price of admission as there are 15 fights in total, will last from 8 until about midnight(really depends on the length of the fights)

will be a great night of fighting... i'll be there, drunk as hell, lol

they used to have it in a conference room at one of the hotels here that would allow about 1000 with "standing room only" outgrew that, the last time they had it there they had to turn people away about an hour before the show started, some very pissed off people

I don't know, the '08-'09 SS's are having a lot of brake issues, I haven't "yet".... they are also on back order until August '09 at the dealership(for those trying to get them replaced under warranty) which is why a lot of people are using the Saab 9-3 brakes, as they are basically the same, and NOT on back order...

but the other SS's had a different brake package than we have... Are you wanting replacements or to upgrade to a better brake?
