looks like a catted downpipe finally got released for the TC SS Cobalts today, know where part of my tax refund is going, lol
the other is going in the bank...........for when the stage kit comes out, plan on having that on as soon as its released... like placing my order the next day
I bet guys hit 12s with the LNF stage kit and a few bolt-ons
the way I see it, no one around here has an '08-'09 SS right now anyway, give me 275-285whp and that'll be fun... like my GTP, I was the only one around here that had one of them that was fast... I'd go to the drag strip, run mid-8s through the 1/8th and everyone thought GTP Grand Prixs were pretty fast... I guess I'm kind of always known as the person with the unique car... everyone knew me when I had my GTP as "the guy with the fast grand prix" and they already know me now as "the guy with the Turbo Cobalt"...
I'd like to replace that with "the guy with the fast Cobalt", lol

I won't be stock as soon as the GM kit comes out, so you might want to schedule that race within the next month ![Wink](https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
and what you want a dig, 30 roll?
on the stock continentals so i'd prefer the 30 on the street, on the strip, I can make them hook
but yeah when the weather gets warm, we all need to meet up

I'm digging the warm weather, I was actually able to launch today from 2 grand, not get any wheel hop and actually only "chirped" 2nd... little bit better than a couple of month ago, lol... the awesome thing is, I got used to launching on my old tires so I had kind of worn them a little, but then my front end was out of align the inside of the tires started to wear, and they replaced them under warranty, so it worked out very nice

nice...i finally got my clutch broke in ......did a launch last night...clutch held great..but then i hit a fuel cut at 6200 rpms and it isnt suppose to kick in till 7200...so now im trying to figure out what would cause it as i have no CeL, so im trying to find something with a 94-95 integra non-vtec so i can use their ecu for 20 min to test if the one i have isnt any good ::plus it came out of a 93...still obd1 but not really meant for the car but been told it works on the engine i have::

40 roll will work, 45 is the top of 2nd sitting about 4500rpm, a shift comes up way too quick, pretty much as soon as the turbo spools... I must warn you, with a tune and bolt-ons this car is going to be bad... its already going neck and neck with 05+ GTs as is, and straight up murking '00-'04 GTs, terribly...as in go the **** home, don't try again

Spec 2+... Spec 3+ isn't what you want for a daily... if you don't NEED it for horsepower(which hardly any Cobalts do), go spec 2+... a 2+ will last until over 400whp, but you don't want a spec 3+ on a DD, ask anyone with a WRX who made that mistake back in the day
and you can get a brand new Spec 2+ and the matching flywheel for $1000, brand new
but yeah, DEFINITELY get the + series, spec clutches suck that aren't +
