do what you want, but as others before have learned, a 3+ is a little much for daily driving, and with the M60, you will never have a "need" for it

please do not buy from turbotech...they have done very shady things on this forum....OTTP is a much better company with AMAZING customer service...

and im pretty sure my hypersingle price includes a flywheel....

also i talked to josh yesterday and he is probably just gonna go with a OEM clutch

Only problem I had with turbotech is the shipping company they used. They shipped it out...but UPS delivered to the wrong house on my road had to fight to get it because the owner was delayed in calling and I lived 200 ft away and they know our number and could not give me a call.

It's hard finding companies that sale MX6 parts on here.

And welcome to the forums...I drill in Jacksonville for ARNG so next drill I'll post up here and we could hit up Jefferson's or something.

yes lol....the car with the swap is a mid 14 with a good launch...turbo at 8psi is mid 13's...16psi is mid 12's muhahaha

I finally got all the cats out of the shop. Cleaning up their **** and throwing **** out to make it back functional. Big reason why I have not really touched cars. Can't stand smelling cat **** and working on a car.

And the fact I ship in 53 days so my money has been going to savings.

kind of a funny(but sad) story... tonight some of my friends went out going to try to get some racing in... After meeting for about an hour waiting on everyone to arrive, I decide to go down to the Chik-Fil-A and get something to eat before we head out to the middle of freaking nowhere to race.

As I'm going back to the lot where we are all meeting, I see two cops side by side at a red light(I was turning on a street called 6th Street heading East, they were at the light about to be heading the same way, East up 6th street)... So I knew not to try anything stupid because two cops were coming up from behind. BUT I noticed up ahead a Blue GTO(6.0L) pacing a White Trailblazer SS, I was trying to get up to start flashing my lights, but before I could, I hear the 3 count begin with the horns.... Sure enough, on the 3rd honk they are off and I'm thinking "oh ****"... well the GTO pulls about a car on the TB SS and they get off the gas to get another run in, of course in my rear view I see the cops hauling ass up toward them(no blue lights on)...

One of the cops was way ahead of the other one, and he gets behind the GTO(the two are still oblivious and I hear them start to honk again), but he blue lights the GTO well before they get run two in... The GTO turns left into a neighborhood for his stop, the TB SS still thinking there is only one cop, turns right into another neighborhood and tries to ditch the scene. I thought he was going to make it, because cop #2 appeared to be turning left to focus on the initial stop, BUT apparently cop #1 radioed him about the TB SS, because at the last moment, the cop quickly makes a right into the neighborhood, and its a circle drive so the TB SS had no where to go... I didn't know who drove either car(we have several GTOs and TB SS's here but I didn't recognize those two cars)... When I got back to the lot I relayed my story and they didn't know the TB SS, but when I said blue GTO they were like "oh ****, Dustin just got that car like 3 days ago"(he used to have a black WS6 Trans Am)... So what was a good week for him, turned very bad real quick....

and this is why my street racing is done out in the middle of ******* no where, where I KNOW my surroundings and don't have to worry about a cop just popping up out of nowhere like what happened tonight


and this of course ruined our night.... see the cops here are weird... they don't care that we race(people have been racing in our "spot" for the past 20 years), so long as you don't flaunt it... For example, if we have 25 cars at the meeting spot and we ALL leave at the same time, they are going to follow us and not let us race... if we leave over a span of about 15 minutes in smaller groups, they still know what we are going to do but at the same time realize, we know they know what we are about to do... So we just leave in small groups and they'll leave us alone because we are headin out to the middle of no where, HOWEVER, when morons like these guys get busted in town: in ruins the night(usually the next few WEEKS) for everyone... Because it shows the cops we aren't respecting them and will do stupid **** in the middle of town, so of course, they watch us like hawks... and in the event anyone tries to leave to go out to the "spot".... they are going to follow them and more than likely find a reason to pull them over almost immediately... I don't blame the cops, I mean its why we go out in the middle of no where to race, to get away from everyone(cops, traffic, etc.) and yet some dumb asses just can't wait 30 ******* minutes to settle their beef...

Its why it only takes a couple of dumb asses to ruin a good thing, and so now, it'll be 2-3 weeks before the cops lay off of us...

the other thing that will lead to our night getting ruined quick: is crotch rockets

see guys on crotch rockets have no ******* sense... they can't just go out there and race a 1/4 mile or whatever, they want to do these 165+mph runs, which NEVER leads to anything good and then when you think you got rid of them, here they come back "stuntin"... I've already witnessed a motorcyclist loose an arm on a wheelie gone bad and another guy loose a leg, his girlfriend was on the back and he tried to ride a wheelie, apparently it was his first time and he wasn't used to the extra weight, laid the bike down, threw his G/f off, his leg got trapped under the bike as it slid down the road... they ended up having to cut it off, the guy who lost his arm just lost a wheelie and got threw off the road into an embankment, same concept, all the road rash made the arm unrepairable and he lost it from the elbow down.... the guy who lost his arm(was his right arm) has a turbo Si Civic, he still drives it, I don't know how(its obviously a 5-speed and he doesn't have a right arm)

so on both accounts, dumb asses ruin everything

Have they even improved Steele any? I remember back when I was running my Cobalt the track SUCKED. Because of poor prep and also poor clean up if someone blew something.

I remember back racing the Sentra I was in the freaking staging area next to run and the truck blew the ******* tranny. I lost track of how long...took a nap and woke up to the muscle car cranking up behind me.

But Friday & Saturday nights SUCK at Steele. Why now I only go on Sundays Test & Tune.
