WOOO HOOO tax rebate! checked the ATM today and noticed it had been put in, always a nice surprised to see your account jump up 2 grand
now give me my stage kit GM!!! i'm going to also put back $1200 in the "just in case" fund.... just in case my clutch goes out, I can buy a Spec Stage 2+ and flywheel![lol](https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
also already have the money put back toward a full exhaust(from the turbo back), going to go with the Hahn 3" catted downpipe and Hahn 3" Catback, but no need until I get a new tune![Cussing](https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/images/smilies/cussing.gif)
I'm thinking about just buying the Dijon short ram kit, because I already have the spectre on my car, but it using the stock elbow that runs to the turbo, so the cheapest aftermarket CAI with a new elbow is the Dijon short ram, which I can then mate to my Spectre tubing and still keep my fenderwell setup... No need in spending $300 for a complete kit when all I need is that damn elbow, no one will sale JUST that elbow, so its kind of my only option, but any way, I still question how much restriction is actually even there, from what I have seen, not much is to be gained anyway, its mainly a sound mod, which I already have now, because it sounds bad ass, lol
so i'm not really in a hurry to throw money toward a CAI, that will be last on my list: tune, exhaust, wait for clutch to fail, that is my order, lol

Anyone know this dude? I saw him Saturday when I was picking up my helmet @ Custom Performance in Bessemer... I am really lovin' his rims!
I appreciate it, man! BTW, I'm a chick... I guess my sig is a little masculine, lol.

BOV=blow off valve
oh and I got the new spring in today, only got a minor scrape on a knuckle and only had to break out the magnet once, about as successful as you can get in working on a car, lol
took it for a test drive, it doesn't seem that much louder(it was loud as **** before the spring) but it definitely changed the tone, much deeper now and I made some video of it, about to start editing it, don't know how it turned out, its hard as hell to drive and hold the camera with one hand and shift with the other, lol so bare with me
***edit***
didn't turn out TOO bad, i'll upload in a second

this was filmed with my digital camera, so please bare with the quality and of course, I was trying to drive one handed:

make sure you watch in HQ, the normal playback is terrible
I bet riding in that cart was fun as ****, my only experiences at 165+ were in a boosted C5 Vette on I-65, just outside of Birmingham coming back from Talladega a few years ago, that was some scary ****, couldn't imagine being exposed at those speeds

Josh you going to be at the paintball tournament event this weekend?
I don't have my name or rank for my ACU's so you'll just have to hit the cell if you come. Going to be hard to spot me in that crowd.

E-town!
Enterprise/Dothan/Ft. Rucker representing!
Any nearby love?
You might see me running around in Saraland/Mobile sometimes on weekends. I've got the black SS/TC with the red SS badges and the "Turbocharged" badge on both doors and replacing the bowtie on back.

Okay... I just got my new Sony deck today... and I'm worried, lol (nothing new there).
I just thought it would consist of replacing the stock HU with this new one... new wiring harness and deck kit to make it fit, and antenna adapter. Now I'm confused with the paperwork stating that I'm gonna have to wire it to all the speakers! I was gonna surprise the hubby and do it myself, but this is too much for lil' ole me. Am I reading this right or am I just freaking myself out? LoL
If what I read is correct, where is the best place to have it installed? I don't wanna take it just anywhere to have it installed b/c I don't want trim pieces getting broke or it not working right. Anyone use the Geek Squad or whatever to do it? If so, how was it?

your just freaking out...calm down and breathe...if you have the wiring harness for the balt you wire that harness into the one for your sony deck...then you just plug it into the harness for the balt...and you are going to have to do your own red wire...but go to the fuse box and tap the sunroof fuse...
if you dont want to do it i will...lol...car stereo is stupidly easy for me

Woohoo! I'm gonna feel like a master electrician when I get this done (if I don't fry myself in the process, haha).
If I don't acheive this minor task, how much would u charge?

Haha...
I put it together last night in 35 minutes! Woohoo! Go me *does happy dance*
I connected blue to blue so when I put in a CD/Flash Drive, it had no sound; the radio did, though. So, after calling Crutchfield (awesome ppl, btw), they told me to connect blue to white & blue. Now I have the perfect set up!
I'm excited because I've never done this stuff before
