I needed the car asap. Lander's found a rim and could have it on my car the next day versus trying to get one off of this site. I even contemplated just ordering after market rims which is still up in the air since I want my current rims black/gunmetal (haven't decided which I prefer yet). Might just end up with new rims altogether. I like the one that misfit is running on his SS/TC.

I have the race of a lifetime lined up:
'01 GT convertible mustang with the Autotragic a CAI and a "racing chip"... here is the funny thing, in describing his car this guy says "I just can't hang with the newer 3-valve GTs, they will walk me"......which I find funny, because i'm walking them, lol
but anyway everyone at my work is telling this guy I'm going to beat him by buslengths but he isn't buying into it(one of our co workers has a convertible C5 vette and i've beat him in it, so he is pretty much telling Jordan its going to be bad)... of course they did tell him that I don't have "much" done to my car, and I really dont... what is 3 bolt-ons and a tune?
and for the first time in my life, someone described my car as "it must be heavy"... apparently that word COMPACT went over his head, lol
we all were adding it up tonight, I got about 400lbs on him, about 50whp and probably around 75-ft.-lbs, and he doesn't want a run from a dig, so he is going to be at even more of a disadvantage, lol... I told him to go from a dig but his defense: "You race all the time, you'll beat me off the start too much and I won't be able to "run you down""
he's a cool enough guy he just doesn't know jack about cars

finally getting to work closer to home, etc...
starting a job in Decatur tomorrow morning, still with the same contractor, just about an hour closer to home... which is awesome, it sucked being on the road 3 hours out of the day... but gotta go where there is money, its just nicer when its closer to HOME!

12.4% the amount of light allowed in by my windows
32% the amount of light allowed by Alabama law
had a state trooper remind me of that tonight, **** it... i'm just going to pay it, its $100 to get it removed or around that for the ticket, which won't count against my record anyway...
had it for 2 years and this is my 1st offense, just glad to know the state troopers are ******* making our streets a safer place by going after the hard nosed criminals... never mind the fact thefts are up, DUI related accidents are up, etc.... window tint the real crime wave that needs adjusted

How long will it take to paint the wheels and have them dry as well as for the roof? The roof isn't entirely bad, just in front of the sunroof where the stupid wind deflector or whatever the hell you call it was

gonna paint wheels and sand/buff the roof...
once they are painted it's 1:30 cure time...but it usually takes me a few hours to paint wheels..then again I'm always having to tape stupid lips off...so I would say 3-4hrs from when I get home to when I can deliver or you can pick up...
ill do the roof whille the wheels are drying....so it wont add any time to the process...

Just saw that you live in Birmingham... might need to get the front lip redone as well before I leave and then mount it back on when I get home

It'll be a while, gotta save money, but I am interested. Just got to find time.

I will probably back out of the Dragon meet, we are buying a house (just waiting on the appraiser to give the ok, everything else has been ok'd for purchase) and closing date is set for October the week after we get back from Disney World (7 day, 6 night trip). We will have to be moved out of this current place by the end of October.
Good news is the house we are buying has a double car garage, with a detached garage/shop behind it

I'm thinking of having a BBQ for the Bama peps next Spring at the new house.
If one of you wants to take over the reservations for the cottage in Tennessee let me know, if not I will probably drop it next week. I would say the House was bad timing but House > Dragon meet.

backing out is cool with me as well, Bama plays UT that day anyway and it was going to hurt having to miss that game...
