Along with some other goodies that I have done lately!

You have a turbo, I am going SC... Unless for some reason you had one for an NA/SC I dont believe it will fit. Either way it is a beautiful OTTP unit, I just modded the **** out of my stock DP today. Some of you may know that I ripped a large hole in my flex pipe, my buddy and I removed it today and found out only the top inch of the flex pipe and flange were connected. I have a Sky RL exhaust at my house and it had the stock flex on it so we cut it off, cut off my stock piece, welded the braided Sky RL flex pipe in it's place and reinstalled it. We werent making something long term so it was quick, had shitty welds, and a few pinholes and ended up about an inch too long but we made it work. I am just glad my exhaust isnt coming into the cabin anymore.

I gotta say my current setup sounds sexy as hell. I am running a JBP header, Modded oem exhaust, half of the Tsudo catback(front section with resignator) and a 2" turn down my buddy happened to have that dumps right infront of the rear axle. I am gonna get an exhaust vid ASAP because it seriously sounds like a boxter engine. It now pops and crackles during engine braking even more and is really deep. There is no rasp at all. It is amazing.

Well I hope the JBP header is worth it because you just lost power with it....

just sayin I know you got it cheap, but still it's not worth the loss in power for some sound

Honestly I can feel a loss in low end but from about 3500+ I have gained. My buddy's Hundai used to stay side by side with me but now from a 40-80 roll I get about two car lengths on him. IMO the JBP doesnt loose as much power like everyone thinks. It works for my top end.

Well holy hell, they made this into a sticky...nice....

i still have my cobalt....just sits parked for right now....though i do have a T28 turbo manifold for it that i'm willing to part with....and if anybody wants to do the work, i have a 2.4 manifold (still on the car) that I may part with...still haven't made up my mind....However the GTI is running strong right now, may have seen it around fayettenam

so far:
Black debaged grille, black VW on back debaged rest
smoked side markers (fender and bumper not pictured)
Black LED Angel Eye headlights, E-Code w/ 6000k HID conversion
Audi TT Short Throw Shifter
iPod Adapter to stock Monsoon
Forge Motorsports BOV, (loudness)
3" 42DD Race Series TB Exhaust (No CAT, no prob)
New south replacement panel column gage pod
Autometer Cobalt series Boost gauge
running 14psi, yummy, 16psi max
still more to come

still got plans for a nice BT, different software, and a decent FMIC

Hmm, I havent seen it. I often see a balt that looks like yours eccept it is slammed with black/silver rims and it has a wingless trunk. I dont remember what visual mods you got on yours.

Anyone who knows about Runions, they are having a badass sale. Sunday the 31st it is $20 to get in and everything you can carry(in one load) is free. I already know of 2 turbos I am getting. Regularly they sell turbos for $35 each. Both the ones I am getting have shaft play but eh, cant beat $10 each and cheap rebuild kits. I am going to be there at 6am. They open at 8am and the sale is only until noon.

Hey, if you get a turbo from there and it has a 4hole t28 flange, i'll sell you a turbo manifold cheap, it's a cast manifold, brand new, never fitted/used, i wanna say it's one of the manifolds from the first alpine turbo kits for the cobalts..

I'll pass man, I am eventually going twin charged and for the turbo side I am going remote mount. I know the Supra turbo I am getting there has a 4 bolt but I really wanna say it is a bigger flange than a T-28. I havent really done any research on it yet, I just know it is in a 3rd gen Supra sitting out there. The other turbo I am gonna get is out of a Volvo Diesel engine. Looks to be about the size of a t3/t4. I am probably going to put the Volvo turbo on my buddy's Spectra and the Supra turbo on the Balt after I rebuild them both.

well if you run into anybody that wants the manifold let me know, t25/t28 manifold, log style, fits l61, le5, lsj engines (is should anyway) and i also have a 2.4 intake manifold that i will part with, don't have the tb adapter...or the brake booster line, but i do have all the little gaskets and the rest...my car just sits parked in the driveway right now doing nothing...and if somebody is willing to do the work i will part with my eibach sportlines and ss leather seats.

but yeah, hopefully in the next few months I go with a bigger turbo, stage 2+ on the GTI, just ordered a CAI and a new turbo inlet to mesh with the 3" turbo back i have on it already...expected gains with setup without new turbo is around 15-20hp...looking at about 175-180 on the ground 200 at the crank...stg 2 should get me 250hp at the crank with a monster 285ft/lbs torque....

but then again...i may or may not start building on the cobalt again...i can't seem to get rid of the damn thing....still need to finish the interior black and red theme...need to fill the 3 gauge pillar pod, still need to replace the fender....

All 4 or just the fronts? I am quite interested in this although I already committed to buying Gary's sc first.
