Hey guys, I live in Fayetteville, NC. I have a 2006 Cobalt SS/SC. All I have performance wise so far is an Injen CAI. For starters, I'm interested in any meets/get-togethers in the area. Also, I am debating between getting a GM stage 2 upgrade installed at a dealership vs buying an aftermarket stage 2/3 from either ZZP or OTTP and getting it installed/tuned somewhere local. Any suggestions would be very welcome, and if you know a good place to get these upgrades done that would be great too. The quote I got from the dealership was about $379 for the GM stage kit, and $446 for the install.

It all depends on when I have work, this weekend I might not be out there due to me not getting off work until 12:00. It's a mix, mainly Hondas and other rice POS. a lot of guys talk big but no one ever shows out anymore. As for tuning, look up a guy Named Matt Welliver

Who has a silver turbo sedan in greenville? I see it all the time and never met the dude. He's got a massive red beard... did a mini burnout leaving wendys a few minutes ago... sounds like stock downpipes and muffler delete maybe...

Ahaha that is me. You drive the super clean white one. I work right off Feaster Rd. I've passed you a few times. Yeah I did a mini burnout since my cheapo Lexani tires are about bald and I'm about to put on some nice Michelin's. Stock downpipes with muffler delete. Spectre drop in air filter. I eventually plan on doing a aftermarket turbo upgrade. We should meet up sometime since were both in the same area.

Welcome Ethan, unfortunately posts over 1 year old are locked so I can not add you to the list...
As a completely unrelated note the LS is in the shop, spun bearings due to oil pump failure and is now getting forged SS/SC internals, machine shop disassembled it today, should be back up and running at the end of next week and should have the supercharger on within the next few months or so. Not really focused on modding the Cobalt anymore since I purchased an RX7 and have a lot more responsibilities (read being with a girl who had a kid before you came along. Lol). I will still be around but I want to keep the delicate(and newer) piston engine reliable. If anyone wants to see the rx7 click here: tru2nrtt777's Channel - YouTube

The piston/rod/crank assembly does as long as they are all together, Also the cams are the exact same except an unneeded keyway in the exhaust cam... Well that goes for 05/06.
