well last time i went to old town there was a lot of haters up there becuase i had a SS and apparently another ss owner was a dick when racing or some ****...so i wanna stay away from the old town area, but if im with you guys (a big group) then i wont mind so much, it just saves me and my gas you know =)

 

the more i think of it the track might be a bad idea, we should save the track night for when it gets colder out . old town sounds good ,i like the idea to all meet up befor rolling out there too, that way we can all stay togather...

 

Not a bad idea. Meet up somewhere and cruise to Old Town. I won't be able to be there until about 8:30 though cause I have volunteer work until 8.

Off topic: anybody running a AEM cold air intake on their SS S/C? I'm thinking about going with AEM but I don't know if there is fitting problems like with the Injen and Fujita.

 

i just did the airbox mod with a APC filter. It was about 30 mins time and cost me about 26 bucks. It sounds just like a regular intake just without the metal pipe. Its also running better now.

If you want to blow off 200 big ones, get an Exhaust or a strut bar (to improve handling). Spend the 25 bucks for the filter at a pepboys or advanced. I think its worth it and your SC loves it too.

 

I'm up for it but I don't get off work until 10:30 then shower then drive 20mins so it will be late for me, but this Friday I'm up for it, only thing is right now the Cobalt looks like **** because I got in a wreck with right front quarter panel......sooo....but I'll still race all beat up like, pm me some info though, and if we go I can get someone's # so when I do get there I can meet up?

Well, I'm gonna be down at Old Town from about 8:15 or so until around 10ish.

Whoever comes just be sure you have at least 4 mods. And that can be anything, different rims, custom license plate, window stickers, and stuff done to your engine as well. Be creative in letting the guy know about your 4 mods and he'll let you in. Also guys with the SS S/C that have the high mount spoiler...Our S/C and high mount spoiler counts as 2 mods.

Make one up......boost gauge. I'm tellin you, all you gotta do is be creative and you can think of all kinds of mods. recaro seats, boost gauge, pioneer sound system.

idk im pretty nervous about bringing my car down there. i heard so many crazy **** about peoples cars down there. idk i feel a bit unsafe down there with my ride there.

Yea, since there is such a high volume of people, stuff happening to your car is highly unlikely, esp with Osceola County SO out there. Also, we should try and get all of our cars next to each others so we can stay in a group next to our cars as well.

Also, not sure if they really check for things...But you can easily bs your way in. Just say random crap, like your boost gauge, if you have the g85, the custom recaro's the supercharger, spoiler, limited slip diff, pioneer sound system....whole bunch of stuff. Just gotta think it up man. All will be well.
