That's been the problem with a lot of guys here in Central Fl. There is only like 2 or 3 guys who will actually meet up. I want to get a Daytona meet started and so far I have 2 takers. Thinking of maybe a few of us who live close to one another could drive up to daytona in a pack and whoever else shows we will meet at Daytona Internatonal Speedway.

And I would like to go to Sonic but this Friday I work. Off Sat, Sun, and Monday though. Next weekend I will be going to Old Town.

 

Central Florida is a big ass place. You have east central, and west central. I live on the gulf coast. Daytona is a long ass ride away (3 hours I think). Orlando is 2 hours. Tampa is 90 minutes. Slocala is like 60 minutes. Gainsville about 90 minutes. Jacksonville about 3 hours. West Palm Beach about 4 hours. All of the above with good traffic.

Plus, people work/go to school/etc. So, timing and planning is important. Location is also important. Saying "hey... let's get together, and then we'll drive around or something." might not get too much interest. I can hang out locally, doing nothing, and it costs less gas money.

I myself am all for showing up where there are things to do. Movies. Burgers and shakes. Looking at other cars (and not much else so I don't sound like too much of an idiot). I like the Sonic idea. Just showing up for some munchies?

kinda off topic , but im probly gonna go to the track friday, so since i'll be in the orlando area i'll probly hit up sonics after.(i say probly becsue of the chance of rain)

 

I'm kinda inbetween both places. About an hour from Orlando, 2 from daytona or Tampa. lol.

But yea, if interested I want to get a meet set up for daytona on Saturday the 29th. If we could get like 10 people I think that would be good.
