I can't wait to see all this action...I would run but Im on bald tires with a leaking cv boot so I'm gonna take it easy on the side with Ryan's slow ass ...I don't understand why a v8 T/A is talking crap on a COBALT forum...you should clearly beat most every cobalt...I'm sorry but I'll take my 25 MPG 4 banger that runs good and looks good over a less than 20 MPG V8 that has trouble hanging with alot of Hondas

Its some funny funny funny ass **** to me. Mods on here consist of stg 2, a smaller pulley, an h/e, a cai, meth, torque dampener, tires and maybe nitrous if that. No on opens their motors and does anything that takes time, but yet they say they are making some crazy dyno numbers with no proof, don't run a time anywhere near what they should (missing the driver mod anyone??) and then get mad bc someone with a faster car posts speaking the truth about beating cobalts and wanting to race for cash. Don't say your fast and you will beat me and then not want to run for cash bc I will then call you a *****.

And I'm glad you have money to dump into your car, bro. Parts for LSX motors are about as easy to get ahold of as parts for Hondas. LSJ internals are a little harder to come by, a little more out the ass pocket, and a little more complicated to install.

And James, I don't think you'd be able to consider it a fair race with all I have done to the car, especially since you demodded. But we can "Run for Fun"

Let's put it this way, i'll have to be careful and roll into the throttle in 2nd...cuz from a 2nd punch at speed the tires just give up. and they're 8" wide...

Ive got a spare stock clutch laying around here somewhere...its got like 5K miles on it. Its just the clutch and pressure plate if you're interested. I can prolly get it to you today later on if you really need it.

But I'll need a little favor in return...you got a PM.

I know you haven't had most of the same stuff werewolf has. He has went through about 3-4 different combination's trying to dial it in to get traction. As far as him beating me it was like 2 times outta 15 and that was when all i had was 3.42's and a tune on my 20's. Once from a roll and once from a dig when I didn't hook. After my stall and mickey's he never beat me as far as I remember. So for thinking he spanked me like 5 times or some ****. Also if you say he beat me at the track your full of **** because my car has never been to the track. I like the street a little bit to much.

 

This thread is turning into the same exact thing as the last one...everyone can settle it tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it..

So you didn't hook...now you sound like a cobalt owner...And I don't recall saying he beat you a number of times...I said he beat you. And I saw the vid, it was on some narrow ass backroad with trees on both sides.

And its really not that hard to make the Balt get traction...limit the boost accordingly in a ramp fashion. It's not rocket science...it's car tuning. Or just get slicks. End story.

But in all honesty I'm just going out to see how much better the car has gotten since the last trip to the track with Werewolf's WTF Tune and my 2.9 to what all I have now.

I've learned quite a bit about these cars since I got my HPT, and now I'm going to put it to use.

Sounds like if you want to be fast, you should get a Trans Am with a Procharger and a dyno tune...

or...uh...some tires might do you some good. Or a little 'custom tuning'... Im jus trying to make more money off you...
