114 miles driving to the track this morning,114 miles back to orlando on tow truck tonight!

 

Only I'm cool enough to get myself and Liz stranded almost 2 hours away from her hotel by breaking stuff on my car.

there's no longer a tampa crew. we all have whack schedules, exept me i work 5 days a week weekend off. But this weekend I had to be sick, and starting next month ill be 4 days a week 3 days off. I love my job.

Damn dude if i knew you broke and axle i had 2 in the attic i could of ran down there and swapped it out.

It's going to be such a long freaking day.

I got to sleep last night at 11 and woke up at 4:30 so I am already tired. And then I am going to be out until like midnight or later tonight. Definitely not fun.

Yeah, I have to get up at 4:30 for work here at the jail. That is if I don't have court. But I'm telling you right now. If I have to come here tomorrow I am going to call in. I am not running a 12 hour shift on 3 hours of sleep. And this is all assuming everything is fine with the car when we replace the axle.

Court I HAVE to go to but work I can call in. They know my situation they are just choosing to be dumb about it. They could EASILY allow me to get out at 3:30 like I need to be. But they choose not to. I am fed up with it here. Honestly. I go out of my way to come into work. Driving cars I am not supposed to be driving to help out and they screw me over. That's it. Time for Jermz to return the favor.

I am. General Orders mandate that we be "well rested" between shifts. Minimum of 8 hours uninterrupted sleep. (unless something job related occures. IE SWAT call out, Honor Guard, training, etc.)

And me being stuck in tampa because my car has a broken axle isn't work related. And guess what, if they allowed me to go 2 hours early, they wouldn't have the issue they're going to have tomorrow. But oh well. What goes around comes around.

Liz, I sent you a text. I'll pick you up and you can ride with us out there. I have a way to get to Braulio's house. Just driving straight out there after work.

Yeah, me too. So that way we wouldn't have been stranded for 8 hours.

I would have had it towed and that been it. Instead we were waiting for 4 hours on absolutely nothing.
