What one did you get....It took me about 30 minutes to take off my old intake and install my new one. WHen I went from AEM to K&N. The K&N makes it scream like crazy.

^ don't laugh but i got a e-bay intake. i just didn't feel like pay'n $220-250 for a intake. i cant compare the two to say which one is better but i sure do feel a difference....and it was only $77 bucks

No prob. Just ask the Orlando guys about mods. If they tell you something to get, DON'T. If they tell you not to get something, then GET IT. That's my philosphy lol. They like 42s, I run 60s. They like spray, I don't have it.

Technician means they know how to work on cars and fix them. Doesn't mean they know how to make them fast

no thats a mechanic. a technician is the smart ************ that fixes **** none of the other "mechanics" can. and when you finally know how an engine properly works, let me know.

Well my bad. Did they teach you that in school? When the automotive industry goes out of business and we are all riding bikes, you will be SOL with your little automotive training. Btw, does maxing out injectors make the engine run better??...Or does Spraying it even everything out??

well so far they all have been very helpful. i came in the chevy game not knowing a thing and just from the one meet we had and some chit chat here and there I've learned a great deal about these cars.....
the one thing that im with you on is the nos topic, this time around im not using nos. ill be happy with 260whp. thats my goal for now......
i think with these mods i can get there........

ottp stage 1 kit
ottp heat exchanger
cti down pipe
custom catback with magnaflow muffler & resonator...
maybe jpb header? not sure/ also may go with gm manifold........
if i get board with this setup i may go tvs
thats all i can think of for now...

LMAO! DAMN but a intake really shouldn't matter, maybe i should put a dry flow filter on and see how she runs. anyways after i go to auto zone and find out what the problem is (most likely the intake) what should i do from there??

The MAF sensors in our cars are VERY sensitive. I have a Dryflow filter that has never thrown a code if that makes you feel better.
