Supercharged cars have potential. People fail to realize it. Yes, you can get a lot more out of a Turbo. Lets be honest for a minute. I probably have a smidgen over 300 to the wheels right now. And quite frankly it's a little annoying due to there being no traction. I go half throttle in 1st and it redlines almost immediately. I slam second and I sping all the way to 7k rpm (~65-70mph) before the tires grab traction. Just in time to throw third. No use in have 96546516546516951HP if you can't keep it to the ground. So once I get my Intake and Exhaust finished, I am dropping to a 2.9 and going to a 7gph nozzle on the TVS and am done with it.

Uhmmm. PM sean from OTT...... I think they have some units sitting around. Not sure if they'll take a trade though. if not, sell it on here then use the money for a TVS.

I dunno man. Part of me wants to and part of me doesn't. If I can figure out what in the hell to do to keep my car from spinning so much then you bet your ass I get a fully assembled, ported and polished head. Then I can be the second Area47. hehe

Cause he was on stock axles like myself.

I'm going to bump up to the Stage 1's. That's gonna be more than enough for me. I would go Stage 2 but I won't be putting that much stress on them....

I'm actually kinda scared on running the DR's with the factor axles at the track. Yes I have the tranny mounts and other things, but I still don't want to snap and axle.

I have a catless downpipe, Ingalls Torque dampener, OTT Stage 2 mounts.......You think a little road noise will bother me?

Plus, the Pirelli's are only 'quiet' for about 3k miles then they start to get really noisy. So, meh. I dun care that much. haha

Yes, I love their aesthetics. And I need something with some damn grip. You saw the picture. I pulled a 30mph back half and ran 116 in a 1/4 mile. That trap speed is damn good for a low 12 second pass.

Mine are teh noisy.

If you get brand new Pirelli PZero Rosso's on, they are extremely quiet. But they get noisy pretty quick. The 3k is an exaggeration. Usually around 10-12k miles is when they get noisy.

Why not any of the nitto tires? A budy of mine has the invo's and they are solid in dry and wet. also very quiet. I was thinking of maybe getting the nt05's. they should be great for the track but will be a bit noisy and not as forgiving to bumps and cracks. but like you said, that doesn't bother you. I think they can be had for about the same price of the kdw's. but with better performance i believe

Anyone going to see the shuttle launch tonight? should go off @ 1:10. Will be quite a site to see if weather permits

As of right now, Friday Morning @ 12:22 am. I'm heading out to the cape right after class tomorrow night to catch it. Hopefully there will be a place to park. Even if it's on the side of the road.

Don't park on the side of the road. You WILL get a ticket. you have to park in a lot or @ a store. Don't stop on the highway or any of the bridges
