I personally use AVG free edition as well as keeping windows defender up to date and I have zero issues with my machine. But I'm not a moron on the interwebs lol so no viruses
need more info than that, plus my dell is uber grand. besides, if I break it I know how to fix it.
gimme a minute, I bet I can find something, what os do you have for your mac?

I will suggest using this;
Download Autoruns 10.07 - FileHippo.com
This program will show you EXACTLY what starts up when you machine is booted. I recommend disabling everything except for windows of course, then your anti-virus.

Seems like mac guys are using virtual machines to run windows. Again I wish I could help more but I'm no bueno with macs, hope this points you in the right direction.

haha I hate macs they just over complicate **** and make things look pretty.
Rob is god when it comes to computers I need to get my android to run faster.. it's lagging like a bitch randomly as hell too.
It's weird too when i get text messages it says it's from someone else originally but when I actually open the message it shows the person who it's actually from.

what phone do you have, I will say do some homework on xda developers.
I learned alot from their forums, and back then I learned to root my my mytouch 3G slide with MSDOS. At the time there wasn't a "one-click" root app which takes the fun out of everything. Also I have custom cryanogenmod 7 2.3 gingerbread. (ps I broke my phone several times with rom flashes so do it with caution)
Oh yeah you want netflix for ya phone?

no worries because you cant read the file in windows or any computer, its .apk is for android os only.
connect your S to your computer with USB, and drop it in the sd card. then disconnect USB.
follow my instructions I posted earlier; settings > applications > (checkmark) unknown sources
boom there you go

Sounds like you have alot of crap that is booked to startup once windows boots. Remember windows as a GUI comes first, then whatever programs you have once the os boots.

Download Autoruns 10.07 - FileHippo.com
