On the Winkydogg deal. I have met him personnaly. Don't talk anymore cause I could tell he was a scammer. I got used by him as well. I don't know where he lives but I have his number. He still comes out ocassionally to the weekend races and still talks crap. All I know is he lives near Valencia and I-10 area of Tucson.

it's an 06 ss/sc i bought it used with 8k miles on it, it has a 3" pulley aftermarket injectors but i don't know what size, airbox mod, i believe it's a stage 2 because redline is at 7k. so i was on the highway when the car would not accelerate, and boost was at 20 psi (normaly max is 17) but i was not full throttle. That turned out to be a bad cat, but they would not replace it, I fought for months until they finally fixed it. Now the car makes a loud vibrating nopise at 3k rpm, and has a leak at the exaust manifold. THey said it's normal, but i know it's not. Now if i am on the freeway, i downshift to third and shift at 6500, halfway through fourth the car will not accelerate, and it will stay that way for the next 5 miles, it has no power at all......and the exaust it deep and sounds like it's missing. The car is all around much slower now, it was pretty quick, now i almost had an si beat me, so I'm pissed. any help, or reference to a good mechanic would be much appreciated, I am used to my old camaro this is a whole new world for me
im glad he didnt scam me this is the guy i bought my pulley from i didnt know he lived in tucson until i drove down there to richies house and saw him there but yeah he did seem wierd

When you car feels like it is going no where is the boost normal? 14-16ish psi? I am thinking you are heat soaking and your IAT2's are high. This will cause your car to pull timing which you could be feeling. I would suggest also looking at some cooling mods i.e. dual pass, 2nd heat exchanger, etc.
Yah I just read about all of those. I would not be too happy with all of this. He is a little ballsy to do this to people when people actually see him around. Hope everything works out for you guys that got fucked. I can guarantee that this will catch up with him, Karma always does.

It doesn't push 20 psi anymore, I have a new cat, it is back down to 17 psi at wot....I am in east mesa and I can't find anyone that knows anything about these cars out here.
And yes boost is normal when it seems like the car gives up half through fourth, i can floor it, boost is 17 psi, but acceleration is like a ford pinto haha

It sounds like it is pulling timing due to the high IAT's especially if you are doing pulls thru 4th gear. You need to get some cooling mods. I believe I have a dual pass end plate still laying around I could sell you. Also I would look into getting a aftermarket heat exchanger. Whenever you are ready for a tune let me know.

The cobra will work but there are way bigger and more efficient units out there. Yes your gunna pay more but it is worth it. I think the largest one is the ZZP S3 but dont quote me on that.
The dual pass I can do for like 100 and the stock one. I think that is the going rate.

Also I would advise to just lay off the gas when you feel it fall on its face. You dont want to pop anything due to knock.

Alright sounds good I am available monday and wednesday-friday typically. I have to get my car up and running today and tomorrow so next week would probably be a little better. Do you want me to dig up that dual pass for you?

Ok. I will let you know when I can. I work 7 days week, but saturdays and sundays usually work 9-4 and monday thru friday I work 8-4. So anytime after that except tuesdays is usually good.
