i totally forgot that gas changes here during the winter...i wonder if that is what caused it.

Waiting for the head gasket and valve seals to come in today. I will be pulling my timing cover today, replacing the broken chain guide and getting ready for the head to be placed. I need to clean the pistons a bit too.
I estimate tomorrow (so wednesday since I always estimate wrong ) having it up and running.
I hope the new aftermarket cam tune I have for it makes them run a lot better than before..
Needed to do some random things like, cut the studs to the header, re-time, change the valve seals... so its kind of good the head gasket gave out. Allowed me to do all these things.

Summer blends are usually far more efficient than winter blends. 2 Gallons of E85 to 10 gallons of gas isn't enough to lean to you out. 4+ is where the maf stars to need to be skewed / injector constants / pulse widths changed. And just dont get any xylene on your paint.

2 Gallons will give you the anti knock capability of 93 Oct.... you will be fine. Just make sure you don't cross the 20% mark of your tank.
