Good to see everyone again and meet the ones I haven't met before. I had a lot of fun, except that I broke the dyno. I still can't think of what happened with that. Maybe cause I bumped my spark dwell?? I def need to visit another dyno.

Anyway, we should do another one soon. I heard of a place in Tracy that does nothing but American cars...

hey i'm down for another run. i put my standard stage 2 pulley on and my car runs a lot smoother...hmm go figure. also i took a run to dublin (42 mile round trip) to pick up my daughter and my gas gauge barely moved. guess that knockin was giving me my shitty mileage too. i was just scared of the damage in the long run.....hope i didn't do much, if any damage to my internals in the 10K mi i put on my car with that 2.85.

2.9 and cobra h/e....here we come!!

had a great time though!!!! my first dyno experience!! thank you everyone for making this a success!!!! steve.....get me the info for that place in tracy and i'll talk to them about a dyno day there.

Sweet. Will do. Gotta remember where I got that info...

This is them. Talked to the guy a few months ago and he has no problem dynoing balts. He refuses to dyno rice, though, from what I hear.

You gonna come see me when you are ready to pop in the meth?

...and yes, I am ignoring the "rice" comment.

Yea, it would've been cool to see what your numbers were as compared to talon.

Nope. Not yet. I don't know why I couldn't read your car. I looked around on the hpt forums and all I saw was stuff I already tried. I am going to brainstorm it some more and look around the forums some more when I get a minute and see what I can find. I'm confident I'll figure it out. It just sucks you're not closer so I can try some stuff. I'll let you know as soon as I come up with something.

Yea, it includes the credits. You can still get hptuners. The one thing that you will get by my tuning is you will get to learn how to use it. So you can have me tune you while you learn on my interface. Then when you get yours, you can continue to tweek with my support. Or, if you want, you can get hpt first, I will tune you on your box and subtract the cost of the credits from my price. The only good thing about doing it on my bow first is I will have your VIN, so I can make changes to your tune and send you updates based on your logs, etc... It's really up to you.

Absolutely. From your post though it sounded like you had someone else tune it.

Cool. No problem. Get your car back and the new MAF and whatever. I'll retune you.

I have an email out to a guy that gave me a lot of help on how to read those weird 2.4 tunes. I am sure he will help me figure out what's up.

So wait a sec... 232hp at 5k rpm? That must have been at least 500 at 7k, right?

I think I am going to find a local dyno this week some time soon...

Schafer, i think u might be working on my car faster then expected lol.. Im just going to let you do the mods instead of me.

Im in the process of installing the meth kit. seems to be going really well. In fact there may be a new how to for our cars. I have to order the updated soloniod because im installing the kit in the back..

I found a local dyno they want 125 for 3 runs in 4th.. (ew)

my meth kit is installed, except im having an issue with the 12v 15smp fuse (im using add a circit). I tapped into the sun roof fuse so i thought it would work but now my sunroof doesnt work.. and i need to tap into the MAF wire, but i need to find a really good way of doing that as to not damage my MAF..

All the other wiring is in, tubes run, and res+motor installed

My Injen is also installed (it does rub so i will be working on that soon as well)

just so everyone knows i work wed-sat no matter wat.
