Hey I figued I'd get the most exposure for this thread if I posted here...me and acouple other guys from surrounding states in the SW having been plotting a meet in Las Vegas. I figured if we made it our once a year meet for us it would be a great middle ground for us. What do you guys think? Its most likely not gonna happen this year but we deff want it to happen next year. Whos in? If your not from the SW and still want to come ur more then welcome.

ya it will most likely be on a sat so that ppl can drive out friday and leave sunday. anyone have any opinons on what month it should be? or just input in general?

The best month would be april, wasnt that bad at all this year, 80 degrees almost every day with no humdity, pretty nice

 

depending on when it is I am down with a road trip to vegas sounds fun.

might have to pry me away from the craps tables though.

 

lol u wont see me in the casinos as much as id want to be...id loose my car by the end of night 1. are there any holidays during april that we could use to our advantage?

Is there anything in particular that you were aiming for or just a meet. Perhaps a car show/track meet would be cool. Maybe rent a track for the day if there were enough people to cover the costs.

 

I'm up for it. Any month would be good for it, but at the end of september every year, They have a hugh car show in Henderson,NV called Super Run. That might be an idea for us to all meet at. It's a classic car show but its for all models. They have a lot of SSR's that go and no cobalt's yet. Its a fun event, Theirs food, and competations and such. My car club puts it on. Cali checking in, I'm way down. I'm actually going to Vegas either late tonight or tomorrow morning, brothers bachelor party. I will be staying at hooters, Let me know if anyone will be in that area, maybe we can meet up for a minute or two. Not sure if i'm taking my car yet though.

 

The exact day for super run is September 21-24, 2006, They have a big kick off event before the 21st at green valley ranch. They have lives bands every night in such. I can even get us a hugh section roped off if we decided to do this for all cobalts.

 

Cool, Sept 23 is my b-day, Maybe I'll treat myself to a super run lol.

 

lol well for the nor cal club hooters has been adopted as our permenate meet spots so the hooters in lv would be awesome...but im hella down to rent to the track for the day...anyone know how much that would cost?

 

I'm not sure, I'll do some checking though and get some pricing for everyone. Hooters would also be a cool spot to hook up. I know a few people their that i can talk to, about having a show so we can all meet up.

September would be awesome, the 22nd and 23rd are on fri and sat. That night they have midnight mayhem hopefully. Its where everyone takes their cars out to the dragstip and gets a go for 10$ spectate is 5$ Its a nice spot to shoot the **** for the night, bunch of cars and some decent people

 

remember guys we are planning to do this next year, unless yall want to try and put something together for this year.

Why not just make it at SEMA in august? Then we'll actually have a reason to go out there. Just all meet up at the outlet center, hang out and chill, then check out sema.

Hi all. I'm a new Cobalt owner. I just bought a Majestic Amethyst LS Coupe. I would be very interested in a Las Vegas meet considering that's where I live. Actually, I'm in Boulder City which is 25 minutes from L.V. near Hoover Dam. If you plan a meet, do it in April or October. Those are the two nicest months of the year.

The company I work for, Ships in most of their booths and The Sema Show is not in august. Sema 2006 is actually October 31st-November 3rd. Per their main website. http://www.semashow.com/main/main.as...OWcom/HomePage. Also the main public are not allowed to attend Sema.

The SEMA and AAPEX Shows are trade events and only qualified members of the automotive aftermarket are permitted to attend.

 

if thats the case see if ur trucking company can hook it up so we can get in for free or get vip status
