Hey so anyone got any idea for the next meet? For the people have attended both the Malibu meet and the Pasadena area meet, which did you prefer? Depending on your response we'll try to find a good place. I was either thinking at the end of May or end June since school should be out by then correct? Please chime in and I'll start a new thread for the official meet details.

Personally I loved the Malibu meet, not a lot of traffic and it was a beautiful day and scenery.

 

ive never been to a meet yet but i would like to try to make it to one soon !!

Usually people have nothing to do sundays so that's why I picked it, what did you have in mind?

 

i always have stuff to do on sundays. plus work is the next day so not too many people cruise late.

well there's going to be a huge meet that day at Village Coffee Roasters, it's early though at 7am, but people usually clear out around 12...then hit the canyons to the beac like we did last time.

Well I figured Sin City just passed, Dyno day is tomorrow, and I know a lot of people have finals coming up, just thought I let things clam down before we held another meet.

good time for me...let's see what others thinking, I'll put down a rough intinerary and map, then make a offical meet thread once we've all decided.

could even go from Peir to 3rd St. if people wanted too.

 

we usually try to do something different every month and we just did malibu like two months ago.... i say we go back to yorba linda regional park where we had a couple meets in the past.... those are the meets that everybody talks about the good ol days. they have bbq's, lots of parking, and fun roads to cruise...

 

i never really spend much time in malibu or that area, i actually don't know if i've ever been there. I say we cruise to the beach, do a beach day, and cruise to dinner?

Maybe then start a little earlier, say 9?

I love so cal. weather is never a factor, hahaha

i'm open to that too, hahah, totally uncommitted. Just tell me where and when, i'll show up. Given that i'm in california of course.

 

ok you just said do something different but suggest something you've done. True we did Malibu last time, but we went to Neptunes, I'm suggesting going to opposite direction to the Peir and 3rd st. Take advantage of the great weather we've been having, IMO.

Well you want to do a dinner thing we'd actually push the meet time back to say 1 and eat around 5...it only take 30 mins to get from Mulholland to the Peir though. They got this good bar place (for the 21+) at 3rd street called Cabo Cantina.

 

dont get me wrong, i love malibu, but it is way to conjested... not to mention some people dont like being forced(i know nobody is literally forcing them, but they feel obliged because the group is goin) to go to restraunts or other things...

hmm I haven't heard one person besides you object...but let's consider all the options, we still have a lot of members I'm sure who have a lot of other suggestions. My experience in the past with BBQ's is one person winds up bringing and doing everything..not cool
