Talking i don't have a cobalt but....

my name is shawn prince and i am 20 years old, my birthday is coming up in a few months, can't wait
i was referred here by nicholas saaco
i am located in las vegas nevada
i have been on jbo for awhile but i just never post. only on regional forum but NOBODY on here has seen my car til just recently.
i bought the car a little over a year ago, and with me being a stupid teenager, i riced it out.
a good 6 months to a year later, the tuner stage kicked in and i got rid of damn near all the rice on it, so with that being said, here we go :]

here is it just like when i bought it

and the rice begins
did a 95-99 headlight conversion :/ ugly

then the clearning up started

Reduce pic size. The "tuner" version is a lot better. I like the front bumper

The end product looks a lot better then where you were going via the ricer method.

Looks way better with the "tuner" version. No hate, but it is a cavalier.

I could only imagine what you would do with a Cobalt. You were better off leaving it stock because you made it look like a piece of ****.

+1 thats annoying.... especially when they are big pics.

To the op it looks a lot better and those toyota cavalier tails look better. So is there any actual performance work done? or just all visual?

Yeah the tuner version looks a lot better, good job. Also interested in if there's any engine work done on it.

well what can i say

there will be haters in life

thanks for all the replies though guys

reason i built this car is:
a] that way if i **** it up, i will know how to fix it.
b] i LEARN from it so when i get a better car, that car will be clean
c] its my first car

so when i have money to go out and trade the cavy or buy a new car, ill know what to do to make it clean.

as for the engine work, absolutely nothing done except for an intake.
reason being
a] its my only car
b] i dunno much about the internals of an engine and i might **** it up
c] don't have time to take apart my car in 1 night and put it all back together

if i knew how to do the internals, trust me, this cavy would be pushin 350+ hp :]
but i dunno so intake nd exhaust, header, tb, and lightweight pulleys to come

so i came across a deal i couldn't pass up

220 for a local pickup on a cf hood

i know, i just got laid off, but i have some money saved for a good month/2
