hey sorry guys been out 4 wheelin and ridikn last couple of days since i got my truck lifted.lol. Well my house is open through jan. if u guys wanna do a kickback up her and a meet we can cruise to yucca valley and do the loop. it's really cool. And u guys should hit alex up about this he was trying to get a jan meet going. Also we need to get s.c.e going. I nvr got to be apart of it I got my car to late.lol. Maybe we should seriously be s.c.c and expand it out to others besides the balts. Anyone ever go on the g5 forums and ion forums or hhr forums about s.c.e.? Come one guys thinks

ACH is cool but I think its kinda far for a lot of people. Last time I went to ACH with sce I got a ticket lol!

 

the crest isn't safe right now, there was snow up there last week and everything is muddy with lose rocks, not fun...Where's Malibu Seafood? By Pepperdine?

I think no matter where we meet it's going to be far for some, and not so far for others.

I'm down for some fish and chips! If you're thinking Angeles National Forest, I'll never make it to the meet, lol. I'll throw the inflatable kayak in the trunk and I'll be out fishing instead! I'm can't wait to fish some of those lakes out there. 5lb bass aren't easy to come by in IL, they seem to be ordinary in SoCal.

 

Man we just need to do something, we need to get a party going or something, invite a bunch of people.

 

no matter what the meet is far for some people, thats the problem w/ socal is that we are spread from sd to bakersfield. i had a pretty good plan, and it doesnt seem like to many other people have a day planned out, just suggestions. should i start a meet thread with actual times and some maps? the sooner the better so we get more people out.

Like I said, you guys have a great concept. I like the Ecotec only thing. You're just having some growing pains, that's all. Hey, I tried to be part of the failed So Cal Redline Association and it fell apart before I could even build boost (LSJ humor there...). But thats a diff story. The Redline forums have been dead forever. The only other person that post over there in the So Cal Folder is my girl Brittany, and she's in my club.

What GM Eternal has always stood for is say you have an F body. You can be in your F body only club and be part of GME. Sure, its fun to see 20+ of a single platform cruising down the street. Then again its fun to see a mix of GM Rides all cruising too. Looks like a GM commercial. LOL. You can be in a club of all one car model or a Pontiac only club and still be in GME.

You guys should be set up so you can have the HHRs crews, the Solstice/Sky crews be in their crews and still be under the umbrella of "So Cal Ecotecs".

------Not to give a way our GME play book, but that's kinda what we've tried to carry. That way you dont turn off people from other organizations. If you are in GME, you can be part of other clubs, associations, etc. Some clubs dont like that. Its a give a take I guess you could say.

Ya, he speaks the truth. Its a great meet up there. Lots of canyons and scenic roads afterward. Not to hyjack, but GME's been planning on a "Malibu Run" for a while now, we just haven't gotten to it. Depending on what you guys decide, we might plan that out.

Simi Valley? Every drive West from Sycamore Drive on Cochran St toward Erringer Rd and notice two doors down from a street called Wisteria (left side, same side as 7-11) see a Blue LSJ Ion Redline on ramps in the driveway? LOL. Thats my place. I have a 1987 Trans Am on the side of the house under a car cover, an HHR on the side street, a G6 in the street (Cochran) and a Malibu in the other driveway.
