Cool. Looks like were have a good turnout. As far as eats go, everyone make suggestions. HViper sugggested Hooters once upon a time. I think that would be a good place to chill and talk. And for a cruise, its kinda hard to say with it being night and all. If it were day I would say Red Rock or go down to the Dam. Or we could keep it in town along the strip..if you dare. lol. But since we have a good amount so far, everyone start making suggestions. Thx.

 

hmmm hooters "cough" i mean i like it for the wings yeah thats it......sonic and in-n-out is ricer and ls1 land so we need to make a mark of our own for the lsj's get the good word out and we need to start a club "can u say discounts" cuz we are the few and the proud and im still sticking with the name lvlsj so if any one wants to start it let me know

 

Oh man the dam would be some awesome pictures... we gotta plan that sometime. :p Well, my work schedule says I get off at 6:30pm on Saturday. How long do you guys plan on staying at the garage? 2 hours? I'm assuming the most I'll be able to do is hang out at the garage mainly because I'm broke and my mom probably wouldn't want me on the strip past 8. It's no big deal though, I'd be really happy just chillin and checking out some other 'balts.

 

If everybody wants to that is fine with me, a cruise down the strip would be really cool.

Yeah, that does sound cool. LVLSJ would be pretty sick, we could all come up with some cool logo to go with it. Then I know a company that could make us all winshield banners for our cars. IDK, just an idea.

I am down for that too, however I have some bad news as far as pictures goes. My car got hit by a drunk driver last night. We were out camping in Overton at the Boman Resevoir last night, and my buddy got too drunk. He starting being an ass and I told him I did not want him around me, but I did not mean for him to leave. Well his girl told me she agreed with me, and he overheard it. That pissed him off and he jumped in his 07 chevy truck and took off. Unfortantly he was parked right next to me. He spit rocks into the back of my car denting it slightly and then proceded to sideswipe the front driverside corner of my car. It is not too bad, but will need a new bumper, fender, and headlight. He did not even realize he hit my car, but my friend threw somthing at his truck and that stoped him. He got out ready to fight my friend, but I got in his face and informed him of what he just did to my car. At the same time his brother pulled his starter relay from his truck so he could not go anywhere. I filed a claim with his insurance today and will probaly be putting it in the shop next week. They will probaly have to repaint the whole car. I will still be at the meet, but we will only be able to photo the passenger side of my car. You cant really tell from that side. That is the short story of what happend, but I will fill you in on the details at the meet. Lets just say this guy is like a brother to me, and his dad is like my second dad, so that is why I did not beat his ass. However I do not expect to be hanging out with him much for a while until he proves to me that he has got his drinking problem under control. But anyway, a cruise to the hover dam would be sweet. Those twisty roads up there can be alot of fun.

Probaly until everyone shows up and then we will figure out what everybody wants to go do. We can get some good pictures up there to with the LV backdrop, but my car is not to photo genic right now.

 

Man, you don't have good luck with Cobalts, do you? That sucks though. At least it's covered and nobody got hurt or arrested.

That works out... I still need to make sure I can go and everything, but as far as work is concerned, I'm off at 6:30, but I'll also need to run home and everything (Henderson). So the latest I'll be is probably 7:30 if I can go.

We should make that LVLSJ into a universal Cobalt thing...

nope no fee to get in........and its not a problem to take the pix from the pass side i kinda think thats my better side any how...........and as far as i can tell counting me we have a whole 3 rl showing up so we can be like stars in the cobalt sky

We just had our SoCal meet on Sunday and I already want to go to another one....hmmm maybe I should cruise out to you guys'.

 

You are more than welcome to come out, the more that show up the better. Let me know if you want me to put your name on the list.

Here is my cell phone number so you all can call me if you are running late, or have any questions of whatever. I will have a list of who all is coming, and will try and wait for everyone to show up before we go anywhere or take group photos. Also, about the LVLSJ club, bring any ideas for a logo with you to the meet and I will work on getting a windshield banner designed. I think we could have some sort of meet every couple weeks for this car club, but we can discuss that at the meet. I think that this club is a great idea, and I also belive we should have the 2.2's and 2.4's be welcome in it as well. It is rukus's idea, but if he will let me I will help organize it.

organize away all balts and ions are welcome it would just be better for us to get a club started for the discounts at alot of shops around town

 

I talked to BADBOY from RL forums and it looks like he will also be showing up to the meet tomorrow around 5:30 pm-ish. So if all goes accordantly there should be 4 RL's now.

On a side note LVLSJ soundz killa (you know I was down for it from when you told me). I know you brought it up to me last time (only time) we met up and since it was just the 2 of us (RL) that was at the meet it seemed almost pointless at the time.....but way to keep it alive and still down to be a member.

dang I was going to come out for the meet but I just found out that I have to work all day tom! but hey i will keep an eye out and try and make it to one of your meets out there. have fun and post up some pics!!

 

No problem man, he is on the list. Sounds like this LVLSJ thing could work out, I will work on it when I have time. I was out getting estimates for my front end all day today and it looks like I am looking at around $2500-$3000 in damage total. Not to bad, but my car will be in the shop for about 2 weeks. It will probaly be next week when I put it in so I will still have it for the meet, although she is a little beat up right now.

 

Holy ****. You just cant catch a break with this car huh? lol. Its awesome though your still going to make it. I was just wondering though. Now that we have all these cars that are going to show up, who here has the best camera??

I say everybody bring what they have and we will see how the pics turn out. My camera takes pictures at 12MP's, but is not the greatest at taking them at night. Also the pics are always 4000X3000 and I have no program right now that can reduce them. And to top it all off I have now idea how to post pics the way everyone else does here. I can put them in my gallery, or upload them, but I have never been able to figure out how to post them fullsize yet. If someone can teach me that would be great.

On another topic, I will am going to give everyone who is going to this thing +1 rep. I may run out of points soon, but as soon as I have more I will continue adding. That is just my way of show apreciation for you all wanting to make this meet work.

When I organize these things I will send you a PM with all the info and link to the thread for it. You will always be welcome anytime bro.

Alrighty guys, I just went to the top of the Mandalay Bay Garage and was dissappointed. You cant have access to the top of the garage now unless you pay up. Im sorry but it wasnt like this probably 6 months ago... We can still meet up as far as we can go up though and talk there on where to go. I wanted to check earlier in the week but work has had me by the nuts the past couple nights. There is another smaller garage across the street that doesnt have too bad of a shot depending on parked cars.

 

That sucks. Well we'll figure something out. I talked to my mom and she hesitated, but said yes. So I'm in for sure...I'll probably just be a little late since I get off at 6:30. I should be there before 7:30 though.

 

I say we still meet as close to the top as we can, we have alot of people coming and it would cause confusion if we changed it now. I am sure if we went up as high as we could those that did not read your post would at least see us and we could still all meet up. We could figure out where to go once everyone had arrived. And those that are arriving late all have my cell phone number so they can call me and I can give them directions to where we are at. I would just hate changing the meeting spot at the last minute and some people miss out on the fun. That does suck though, and I have to appoligize for this too. I have been off work the last three days and should of gone and checked out the meeting spot too. We should still be alright though, and how much is it to go up to the top floor anyway? Cant be much more than four or five bucks. I maybe can swing to pay peoples way up if its not to expensive.

Update; As of now we are meeting at the Mandalay Bay parking garage just below the top floor at 6:00PM 07-07-07. The reason for the change from the top floor is that we just found out that you have to pay to get to the top floor. Depending on the cost I may just pay everyones way up in advance if I can arrange it, but basicly just look for the cobalts and redlines somewere near the top floor. If you do not see us then call me on my cell phone @702-428-0662 and I will let you know exactly where we are at. Sorry for the last minute change guys, it is my fault I should of check out the location in advance, but thanks to Hick we all know now. Thank you Hick for checking out the location so the apropiate changes could be made.
