Did anyone else see that cobalt run the 10.5 in the quarter mile? I tried to find it in the parking lot afterwards but could not. I assume it was turbo, but I really do not know. I belive it was running in the pro-stock class and was heavly modified, but it was a door slammer. It was not on of the fiberglass body ones eather. It had full body, headlights, brakelights, ect... It blew my mind, I will try to do some more research to find out who it was. Just figured I see if anyone else saw it.

No, although that is a sick cobalt. I saw a black one that looked street legal run a mid 10 second pass. I even waited for it to come back around to get a closer look, and it had the full factory body. It was crazy

 

No pics, my batteries were dead by this point so I had it charging in my car so it would be ready for the bikini contest. Then I forgot to go get it before it started. What a night that was.

So is everbody still in for the LVLSJ club thing? I have not had a whole lot of time to work on the details for it due to my boss being in Italy for a week and I had a whole lot of work to do. I do have a guy that can do custom banners for the fronts of our cars, but I need to work on some kind of a logo. On a lighter note, my car is scheduled to go into the body shop on the 15th. I am getting the front end fixed up, but at the same time having a blue pearl sprayed over the black on the whole car. I may even get the invador style hood from CA too. It is going to be sick and I cant wait to show you guys. It will take about two weeks to paint so it should be ready around the start of September.

 

Lets set up another meet soon. I'm kicking myself in the ***** for missing the last one.

I say we have one on the 11 of August.

 

I'm still down for club LVLSJ anything I can do to help kick things into gear, I will definately contribute or what not.

 

A meet on the 08/11 sounds good to me, but I say we meet up at the hooters hotel and casino parking lot. It was to confusing meeting at that last parking garage last time, and it was way to hot. I am working with a guy for a banner right now, and hopefully I will have something to show you guys by the meet. I just cant decied If I want the banner to say just LVLSJ, Las Vegas LSJ Crew, LVLSJ Crew, or just Las Vegas LSJ. Anybody got any ideas? If so, post them fast, I need to get this guy started on the banner. Also if everbody is down for another meet on 8/10 then I will start a new thread for this and send out some PM's.

8/10 (as long as it's at night cause I work in the morning) or 8/11 it's all good either or I'm down cause I usually got the weekends off, unless I get called in for emergencies. But I'm down for another meet.........that would be cool to start another thread for input and who would be down to show.

Whats up Hick and Dmen, LVLSJ it is. Any ideas for a small logo maybe off to the sides of the banner? I may or may not go with something. I will be meeting with the guy that is designing it sometime tomorrow, and he said he had some cool ideas. I will post once I order the prototype.

I wouldn't put a full on banner on my car but a smaller decal like the CobaltSS.net ones would be sweet.

 

+1 - oh yeah I would also like the smaller decal's. Back in the day I had a Saturn Speed windshield decal and it was HUGE!!!! I took it off the next week cause it was somewhat of a distraction and other reasons.

 

Hey guys, sorry I have not been on for a while, but I have been really busy with work. I have not been able to work on stuff for this meet on 8/11 yet. I will be working on that and starting a thread this evening. Work has been hell the last few days, and I have just been extremely busy. That is the part that sucks about being in upper management, with problems come up I have to work until they are fixed.

That would be really cool man. Seems like all I am doing right now is working, and when I come home I am still working. Never run out of work. Sigh.... Oh well, It will pay in the long run when I am making that six figure income in a few years. If you get a chance can you start a thread on here and the RL formus too? I just will not have a lot of spare time until probably after Wednesday. I have to set up to move 50000 gallons of product from two railcars on Wednesday. I have to arange for the trucks, set up the staff and the schedule too. I am just buried, but I can almost see the light.
