I have an uncle who does realestate in the Riverside-long beach areas. I could drop him a line if you guys are looking for maybe a house to rent if your interested. I dont know what he still owns or if he sold his properties yet though

I cannot express how much I would advise you not to live in Hollywood! I was dishing out 1300 for a dump of a 1 bedroom! Hollywood is overpriced, dirty, and there's chicks with dicks everywhere. Just take my word for it man , I lived there for 1 1/2 years it's not worth it. Not too mention the job market is overcrowded with all the people out there acting. Even look at San Clemente or Oceanside, they're cheaper and nicer. They're just South of Orange County, but close enough, and they're close to San Diego. I'm moving out that way fairly soon as well so you So Cal Cobalts should have more coming! Either way, good luck man!

Hollywood is totally a dump... GF lives there... it's a pain going there

The San Fernando Valley is another option. It's no where near as crowded and getting a job in the valley couldn't be easier due to the wide variety of opportunities.

Living south or north of "VENTURA BLVD" will dictate the $ of your apartment. Though that rule doesnt always apply.

Night life is evident on the south eastern side of town a.k.a STUDIO CITY, ENCINO, and just over the hill thru LAURAL CANYON is Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and the rest of wonderful horrible LA.

do not move anywhere close to LA. stay at least 25 miles from it.

traffic is horrible. Anaheim has really decent priced places for cali. and fullerton isnt far. fullerton would be the place to go for bartending jobs and such. my buddy pays 1200 a month for a 2 bed thats huge. very nice. so all you go to do is keep an eye open and such.

mayb we can plan a car meet when ur out and u can show up in a rental. lol

Hell yea. Im soo confused trying to find the best spot right now. The internet can only do soo much. Im trying to narrow this stuff down. I'd prefer to stay south. I'll have to check out fullerton now.
Im down for the carmeet, lol.. maybe i'll be lucky and get an ls cobalt or something.. lol

San Diego is a cool city, not Chicago or anything, but it's cool. As I said, North of City in Carlsbad, Oceanside, Encinitas, ect...They're all good. There really isn't crime in those areas, yes you'll occasionally hear explosions at the marine base, just sounds like thunder And traffic in those area is nothing compared to LA or the surrounding areas. Plus you can live close to the beach for fairly cheap. Just hunt around on Craigslist a bit.

Fullerton/nice parts of Anaheim would probably be the best. When I move out those will be the first places I look.

make that 32, lol, I'm suprised there's not more of them out there really. We've got about 30+ coming to the Crate Engine Depot meet this weekend outside Chicago. Hopefully I'll have the TVS I'm eyeing before I head out there!

Very nice. Runs will be made on that! I might just bolt it up with just an intake and catback to start with, it can be done with no issues, so you'll probably take me. I want to do it before I get out there though because there's some guys around this area who can work a tune on those things. I'm down for running some dbags in BMW's though too
