I thought I'd toss this up on the California Regional threads to introduce myself. I'm moving from the Chicago area to LA for a job, and I'm Just looking for any other Cobalt owners who I may not have spoken too on here yet on various other threads or to get in touch with the ones I've already talked to. The date isn't set in stone yet, but it looks like the 2nd week of January unless a big winter front with snow moves through the midwest, in which case I'll move the date forward or back to accomidate. Looking forward to joining the SoCal Cobalt community, but you guys near Chicago will be missed

my buddy had a medicinal card when I lived out there before...unfortunately I can't smoke anymore... but whatever, that's why there's beer.

Technically the club is in LA, but in reality it's Beverly Hills, and I'll be living in the dorms at the County Club for a while (free!). Those crafty guys must have gotten the property annexed into LA to get a lower tax rate! I'll be right near Santa Monica and Wilshire. Just get off the 405 heading east on Wilshire, and it's not all that far down past the UCLA area.

I'm definately looking forward to getting back out there. DO you guys have any meets planned for Jan-Feb? If not, I'm not opposed to getting a few cars together either way.

yeah some of us are not far from LA. bout 30 miles or so. but you can forget us hanging on the weekends. **** LA traffic in the ass sideways..... our meeting place for most are usually in fontana anyways. im like a block from disneyland. and yes it hate the fireworks...... anyways. hit up the forum when ur on ur way out.

 

LA traffic does blow miserably...when I was out there over the summer (didn't bring the Cobalt) 10-15 minutes to work at 6am. 45min+ on the way home at 5... Where is Fontana at, isn't that where to track is in the area? Looks like the date will be the 2nd week of the month. Sometime between the 10th and 13th

^^ awesome man. I was originally going to move to North SD in Carlsbad, but the job offer changed that. I really like SD County, but I like money too . We'll definately have to meet up, I'll be visiting family near Racho as well. Do any of you guys do tuning or know someone who does a solid job in the area?

 

maybe we can get a decent meet going.lol. Someone needs to organise a west coast meet. Like a huge one.lol
