moving to socal!!

Well I cant tell you how many times I've thought about doing this.. I finally got one of my best friends to move out there with me.. the plan is to move out right at the beginning of november. We're looking to get a nice but AFFORDABLE appartment outside the LA area. So ANY help would be appreciated!!! Im going to start putting in APPS in for jobs in a couple of weeks. So if anyone knows of a job available or a good place to apply please LMK

lol its funny how he talks so much **** now that he has a supra. If i remember right we all pay for our cars but u were driving a blat that mom bought.lol. Anyways glad to hear ur moving here. Besides the shitty modification laws and taxes so cal is pretty great. U can do just about everything u can do in the othe 49 states all here in one state. But to be warned man trying to find a place near L.A. that is gonna be affordable aint gonna be easy. You need to head out towards the valley for that

What kind of skill sets do you have for a job. What kind of work are you looking for. What about your friend what are their job skills. Tell us your info and maybe we can help. One nice thing about here it doesn't snow!

nice..

im looking for something under $1000.. but if I can find another person we could easily do $1200.. So i'll keep it in mind.

And it doesnt have to be in LA.. but definately in southern cali.

im 20.. i dont have a college degree to answer that haha..

ill be honest, i really dont know what to expect.. and i already know im not going to get a great job. If I need to, i'll work 2.. ive done it before. I just see no point of staying in west virginia waisting money on rent/utilities when theres absolutely nothing going on here

Affordable and outside LA area doesnt go well, especially if you have standards. I lived in RSM for the last 4 years, I had a nice (not over the top) 2-bedroom aptment, cost was just a small 1560 a month plus utilities. As the home market took a dump, the rent market went sky high. I was so happy to see a xfer was available in the company to FL (where I grew up).

But no job going out, no skill set going out...I'm sorry but your not helping yourself. Your going to be lucky to end up with job over 10.00/hour. I would stay in that low cost living area, get some schooling, and then move out. Otherwise your going to struggle.

CA is a nice state, great food, great drinks (lots of micro brews around), a majority of the people are nice/friendly......but the absurd cost of living did get old after a while. 11.8% income tax, that pays my car and insurance monthly.

if the cop really wants to get you, he will ask you to open your hood, if he sees no CARB stickers for parts you get a ref ticket...

sends you to the ref to get your car checked out. see, what most people do is take all the parts off the car before going to the ref, and they just get the ticket removed...

but if you go to ref and have a dp without a cat in it. i think it was something around 25k dollar ticket or some ****... its a felony

but you have to get your car smogged every 2 years once it becomes 5 years old...

if you get caught street racing, you might as well say bye to your car, it gets crushed...
