here is how cali works man, the government is full of filth and people just spending spending spending on all sorts of plans that end up crap and whatnot. the cops are not exactly here for the people anymore they are more here as collectors to write everone tickets and collect as much money as possible for the state so the gov can keep spending and spending. but even with them writing all the tickets and raking in doe the gov of cali still hasnt got a damn clue about anything and spends cash before it leaves the freakin press. the gov sucks ***** down here and most everyone i know who lives down here is wanting or is moving out into better states. best example so far my cousin wanted a single story house down in irvine ca and it cost 500k for like 1.5acre p.o.s. house. his job ended up sending him to texas and he got a 2 story 3.5 acre house for 300k and it was sick as **** like granite tops and bom tile floors. so yea cali isnt the best but for sure different if thats what you really want.

atleast your gas isnt $1.10 a LITRE which is over $4.10 a gallon. 2 bedroom apartment here is about $1200 and up. If you move close to the city, for a nice 2 bedroom, your lookin at $1500 and up if you want it in a decent neigborhood.

Also as of next year, we will pay 12% tax on EVERYTHING we buy, even going out for dinner or buying a can of soda. To insure my cobalt with a 15% discount is $3000 a year.

But we dont have that stupid law for car modifications so thats nice.

Eh stop arguing, I'm tired of people who buy RWD cars and automatically think they're better. I went from RWD to FWD, and I'll probably switch back and forth, there are pros and cons to both, pros to my car, it's fast and new and I pay for it, and I don't think I'll ever buy a used car again for the fact that it might break, and I know a lot of people who have learned that lesson. Cali isn't that bad, it costs a good amount to live here but you get what you pay for, and it's totally worth it. Way more to do here than a good majority of the US. If you can't afford more than around $1300, I wouldn't look anywhere in LA because you'll end up in the ghetto.

Canada does tax alot...but so does CA (some of highest in nation)

Income tax (28%...we all pay this or around this)
State Income Tax (11.8% if you make over 44k/year)
State Sales Tax (6% last time I checked, I imagine it went up)
Then each county has its own sales tax...ie sales tax in LA county is roughly 9% because LA added its own sales tax

I moved out of CA and w/ the money saved from state income tax it pays my Cobalt SS carpayment. Thats really how I purchased the car, I was saving x, and only watned to spend x but have a fun to drive car.

haye tp tell u buck but no one co signed for my car. I bought it free and clear I am the only one on the title. I qaulified for 0% by myslef. Had a credit of 710.lol. As for RWD being better than FWD I highly disagree. There are many srt-4 and cobalt ss turbo that are killing RWD cars and with little to know wheel hop

ugh buckweed i aint gonna argue with u. I never said fwd was better than rwd. Im saying dnt say rwd owns fwd all the time cuz this is not true. There are some very strong fwd cars out there and ill be the first to admit that the cobalt is one of the weakest

Dont listent to all these fucktards, its not that bad here. people are rude here but it will build character. You just gotta find a job by looking like anywhere else you would live. and its good to live here because of the girls, beaches, six flags, disneyland, knotts, downtown LA, In-n-Out Burger, everything under the sun is here. Bucky just isnt a cali guy lol. I was living in an apartment here in san bernardino for 2 years paying $950 a month.

As for stupid honda guys, thats a nation wide thing, its been spread like a virus
