I bet it will be for you... thats a couple hour drive right? I'm an hour away so it should still be quite fun Dang the meet date is gettin close quicker than I thought lol

 

Yea its a good 3 1/2 to 4 hour drive. I have driven down there a lot before for booty calls and to chill with friends so I know the way

I was just informed that you have several meetings. I own an '06 SS/SC and was wondering what it takes to be a member of the club, or if it was open to all Cobalt owners.

 

Nice man, its open to all cobalt owners, so come on by. We always try to get the most cars we can to the meets, it will be a blast. What are the specifics of your car: color, and mods!!!

 

Requirements:
1. There is a 3 week camp you have to go through in order to be welcome.
2. You then have to pass "the test"

J/k bro it is an open membership. You are more than welcome to come out anytime. I think I speak on everyones behalf the more the merrier.

 

Thanks. My Cobalt is Yellow with the Yellow and black int. I only have the stage 2 GM upgrade on my car. Looking to upgrade more but it can get really pricey. I work at a chevy Dealership so I can usually get equipment for cost plus 5%. Please let me know when and where the next meet will be and I would love to try to make it.

 

I have started to edit the first post with all of the updates on the meet. Unfortunately we do not have an exact location yet but it will be in SD on August 5th. So yeah just follow the thread and when we have a location we will post it.

 

Sounds cool. I will keep an eye on the thread and hopefully see you all there.

CRUISE TODAY 7-19

I am serious, does anyone want to go and cruise today? I have about 400 miles on my car, and I got it 2 days ago, lol, I need more.... So if anyone wants to cruise hit me up.

I just got my Limo tint on this one, and limo with black just looks....sexy lol My girl is really diggin it. Especially since it has the limo tint

 

I'd cruise with you if I were out there... I just hit 5500 in mine! yay!!! Does the car automatically boost 12 at a certain milage? I'm still boosting 10

 

Stock, on my 06, i never really saw 12 too much, only on really cold nights. I mainly saw between 10.5 and 11.5 average.

 

bad news guys i heard rumors of me leaving on the 3rd to go do some training or what not. im hoping it falls through or they got the dates mixed up. i'll keep you posted. this sucks cuz i have yet to miss a meet

 

I'll give ya a call later about a cruise dude cause I am def down. I am trying to finish up my front tint (5% ) and am painting the other tower to my spoiler.

 

So have any of you guys in SD found anything? Having the meet on base like I suggested before will not work, they said it was too short of a notice in order to sponsor the meet.

 

ive got nothing. i dont know if anyone else is looking or not. nothing seems to be panning out and i dont have time to drive all over the city to find a location. more sd people need to step up.

Well I don't know if you guys would even consider this but if nothing can be found soon for a meet spot in SD I am sure I could arrange to have the meet in Temecula. (The meet is only 2 weeks away!) There is a huge parking lot at the local college and I could prolly convince them to let us use it. There are also a lot of places to go for a cruise around here too. I think La Cresta would be way chill and it is only a 10min drive away. Just trying to keep the ball rolling so let me know what you guys think.
