I'll tell you how.... Cops in this area have nothing better to do than write tickets for stupid ass ****...

Got pulled over at night, was totally going the speed limit.... was probably in 4th or 5th, wasnt even over 3k rpms... wasnt making any noise at all pretty much...

some ******** cop in a car w/o the roof sirens pulls me over... he just walked around my car and started ******* writing **** up... luckily he forgot my tint.

so i got written up for no front plate, cover on my rear plate, tail light out (which it wasnt even out), and then he made me pop my hood and wrote me a ticket for my intake because i didnt have a carb sticker.... he didnt even know what a carb sticker looked like. he didnt know **** about exhaust... technically he's not even allowed to pop my hood if he isnt a certified CHP Emissions officer or whatever.

I was totally curteous and did not give him any attitude whatsoever.

he then, called in a second cop, who was certified in exhaust and he said that it looked legal to him, because it had all the stock connections, and the mother ****** still wrote me up.

so basicly i either had to pay 300 for illegal emissions or take it in to get tested for $40...

I would but i need to see what a real carb sticker looks like (photoshop+sticker paper = ghetto intake carb sticker)

OK just got an email from the scheduling deputy and I got that Saturday off, so I'M ALL IN!
I'm coming up from Socal again boys, so anyone from down south that wants to join me is welcome. We can cruise up the I-5 together. There are about 5 or 6 guys down here that have SS Cobalts, so you should step up and roll out guys.

I have a friend wtih an Eclipse GTS... He had a custom exhaust set-up done for his turbo so he has no cat... well now he need to have his car smogged.... anyone *cough* know anyone who can help him 'pass'

 

Go to a small place where the worker is the owner kind of thing, they will be more likley to *caugh* pass your buddy, espically if they like the car.
