This is a COBALT meet. NOT mostly Cobalts with a bunch of other cars scattered around. I totally disagree with bringing a 2nd or 3rd wheel if they bring thier own cars. ONE guy wants to go with a couple friends.....and now there are 3 cars and only one cobalt. This will just turn into a huge car show and people will be pissed if they cant attend or participate when they have a nice car too and heard about the show and we stop letting people come if they don't own a cobalt but we already told a bunch of people they can go ......Nothing personal......I just see it turning into everything BUT a Cobalt specific meet.

 

Its a GM/ ecotec meet...but yes...i see what your saying. \

its not specifc to cobalt though...its specific to all GM tuners

its a gm show cuz our boys from the north are gms. I would dislike having others come to this for the fact we are planning this for us. Tom pm me about this let's talk about it

I guess I know what you guys mean though. I just think that a couple people bringing some friends and family is aight especially since its so far away. I wouldnt want to drive 6-8 hours and have a shitty turnout ya know

 

We cant stop you from bringing friends and family, the more the merrier. BUT, when we go to line up and do the meet/ show - they will park to the side and let all the gm tuners park together. When we cruise, they will be at the back. Others coming as support is fine, without friends and family most clubs would be nothing, but this is a meet for GM tuners, so for the meet purposes, they will not be included.

 

this is what me and tom talked about..if they come awesome because it will be a good turn out but on the other hand it is a gm tuner bash so when it comes to pictures and what not they will have to step to the side..hopefully everyone understands and is cool with it because this is gonna be a blast

 

speaking of which. we should probably start looking into hotels and ****...

Its an ecotec / gm tuner car meet. All cars that fall under that title are (or should be) allowed to fully participate in all activities and photo opps.

I think the more people the better though, I don't think we need to be exclusive of others that would like to tag along. It should be one hell of a fun weekend for all!

We should start working on hotels, or decide wheather or not were gonna take over one or just let everyone fend for themselves! We should get reservations very soon though to lock in good rates and such.

 

Hotels are my next task. I have some guides and websites I have been looking at, but if anyone has a preference or has been there, shoot me a PM so that I can get ahold of them.

 

So you can take my name off for now with my whole baby situation and it being due sometime in june maybe next time.

yeah i think thats a good idea to let people come and just tail behind so when we all line up it will look a lot nicer if we have so many cobalts in a row and not other cars in the mix, at the end it would be cool. should line up all cobalts then all solstice and so on. maybe even segregate by color that would be baddass..line of black cobalts then yellow then blue and so on. cant wait it will be a nice photo opp..cant wait !!!! aHH!!

 

If anyone runs across a problem w/ the site, let me know either here or there (same user name)... I'll be more than happy to fix it

AFAIK, everything works on my end, so...

 

I may come, about a 7-8 hour drive but it would be a lot of fun to actually get together with so many Cobalts. Subscribing.
