umm, that guy passed out flyers on tues remember? when you say header to dp do you mean the 3-bolt or is vibrant a 2-bolt? i have a 3-bolt new in bag from gm... and its a true 3"

 

oh yeah right. um yeah header to downpipe its a 3 bolt but its 2.5 not a 3.0

 

i changed my exhaust... i put a 2.5" reducer in the tail pipe and picked up a peak of 16hp on scanforce same day same conditions same temps iat-1 & 2.... i gained over 10hp accross the whole RPM band...

it will only be staying for future plans of going turbo.... just thought i'd share... need a retune now though car's running in the high 10's AFR WOT

dosent matter, the stock is 2.5 but there using a 3" opening...

well i've always looked at like $60 in gas is cheaper than $650 for HPT but i wanna be able to make adjustments like mainly timing, i know i wanted you to pull timing cuz of knock in the midrange but now im only showing 8-10* and i think thats why the 335i pulled me till 5500rpm... umm and when i reduced the exhaust to 2.5 it dosent do the lean thing is second and goes in to pe instantly now, no lag like before! so it was deff a good change... hey think if i come to the meet there will be someone there with equal mods that i can race? to compare... i figured i would be getting anoying telling you: pull timing... now put some back in... lean it out... its too lean... im a picky son of a biatch when it comes to my cars...

well did you find a gasket cuz im sure the 1 i have will fit! did you look up the part# and see if it will work? i can still go i just couldent buy those items off angelo but we already discussed that and he said its cool he's got other people interested and i told him sorry for wasting his time... so i can go i just have to be a penny pincher if i go!

thanks, i'm happy...now i polishing my shift knob...figured i try to paint it, didnt stick so since i scuffed up the silver paint/metal im just trying to polish the metal right now its already shiney, but not like chrome or my wheels. so we'll see

well the piece is alum(im pretty sure) but not so much "**** chrome" cuz my interior has it throughout the car, i.e. interior door handles, gauge rings, shift boot ring. heres the finished product. I didn't bother trying to clean out and polish instide the grooves so thats still got the crappy stock silver paint in it.
